Me too.

That’s great. Congratulations. What state?

I think that truck in Mass was advertised on here for a while. It wasn’t very expensive. Maybe $8000.
-
My father said they are reverting back to Yellow but I have not seen that in print.

You can check the headlights. I’d guess 6V.

I saw one 2 days ago in a barn in PA. Where are you?

The RWS766 has a 400 in it.

Sounds like pretty good news. Happy thanksgiving.

They are firetruck specific L model fenders after 1950. Not a whole lot of people looking for them, but if you need them there they are.

It’s looking great. Thanks for the update.

I believe that none of the gas jobs had functional shutters, but I am not certain.

I’m not trying to rub salt in your wounds. How much will you have to take the truck apart to get the engine out and how will you avoid messing up the paint? I’m no mechanic.
I’m sorry for you loss. Thoughts and prayers and all the other dumb stuff that people say. I know you can fix it though. Mike.

Well that sucks. Sorry to hear it.

Sounds great. I’ll be up in Canterbury on the 28th. Can I take it for a test drive? Mike.

Daryl Emery in Hamburg PA bought a lot of F model sheet metal at an auction 12 years ago. Look him up. Mike.

I got 1 new torsion bar with my ‘64 F715 but I need two. Watts could not come up with one. Let me know if you find a hoard. It sure is a pain in the ass tilting the cab. Mike

Where are there are the trucks?

I don’t have an answer for you, but my A model fire truck has a red painted interior and you can see the green under it where it was worn. I’m sure the red was done by Mack as all the Mack fire trucks I have seen had red interior. The exterior of mine was ordered yellow. Just because yours has green under the brown doesn’t mean Mack didn’t paint it brown. Mike

Welcome. That’s a lot of years with Mack. Do you have any photos to share?

Gotta move that appointment up so you can drive it to Mack Day next week.

That looks to be in good shape.. An easy refurbishment.. Are you going to be able to keep the original patina??
The rockers and floors are rusted, but otherwise it is solid. There are places where there are bare metal. I might need to have it clear coated, but I will not have it painted. Can anyone recommend a good mechanic who would go over the entire car? Thanks. Michael

The H613 is 1 of 3, just the only one left. I feel very lucky to own it. I am very proud to own all of them. My father has another MH of theirs and a Brockway 257. I am proud to preserve their history. Last month we went to New Hampshire and picked up a 1954 Chevy wagon that their salesman used in New York. It hasn’t run in 50 years though. It needs complete gone through.
Also, I made two great friends in Tom and Ron Smith. Mike- 4

Now you really don’t have an excuse to not drive it to Mack Day.

That is quite a truck. Where are you building MTB trails? Mountain biking is my other hobby. Mike
