I don't know why I said interesting rust? Rust is rust!
Sometimes seen the creepy crud work pretty good on the front "fenders" but in the pics this doesn't look too bad.
Running and driving is good.

Yikes! What a ride!
It seems to me that roads that get rained on after being really dry from no rain are more slick than roads which have been rained on recently. More build up of rubber and oils???

What is overall condition? Been run/driven lately?
F models can have some interesting rust issues. How does the cab look?

The 85 in 785 indicates it was built with a 237 hp motor.
F is the cab over model.
T is single axle tractor.
2999 is sequential build number.
Looks pretty good!

Do you have maint. records on this unit to see what has been done to it?
At 800,000 miles, if it hasn't had bearings it sounds like it might need them.
