I havent seen any pics myself but would guess its mostly home built. You could fab up a square body then somehow use a pair of modified front fenders for the rears providing your a single axle. I would envision a box similar to that on a Dodge powerwagon.

This truck was a road tractor but the fifth wheel plate was removed.

The bed was on there when I purchased the truck. I had originally planned on removing it and putting a plate back on but think I'll probably leave it as is.

My truck has the smooth ones. I also have the other style in my stack of parts.

My 673 turbo shows 300K+ miles, assuming these are original. The engine runs absolutly perfect, great oil pressure both cold and warm. Slight blue haze of smoke on cold startup but clears once up to operating temp. I belive this truck has had a pretty easy life.

Nice looking tractor, I alway prefer the looks of a wide front over a NF. Its nice to see it still wears the original patina. I hope to someday have a Super C in this similar condition. Good luck with the sale!

If you know it has a zillion miles on it and makes some "interesting" noises, it may be time to do an overhaul.

Take an engine oil sample and see what a lab has to say about it. Is it showing fuel in the oil? Is it showing bearing material in the oil? Oil sample test by a good shop is money well spent.

I would like to remove the paint from the shutters on my B61. What is the best way to do this? I have read about soda blasting aluminum but not sure of anyone in my area that does this. Has anyone ever used the aircraft stripper? Would this be the way to go? Thanks in advance!

So there are some B57's with the long nose like a B61? These trucks are confusing! Why do the engines lean on the B67's, tight fit or what?

As mentioned i Have been looking for a B series for quite some time now. Was looking for a B61 but ran across a B57 that Im going to look at this weekend. The guy said the original engine blew up years ago and they took the engine out of a B67 and put it in the B57, Would this be the same engine that it originally had? Are the B57's visually the same as a B61? Looking at the production figures there werent many of these B57 trucks built.

Hello all! I have been looking for a B61 for a few months now. I ran across a B53 and would like to know the difference between that and a B61? Apparently this B53 has a heavy duty front end? Is this the difference or what. Another question is about the turbo B61's was that an option or what? Iv seen them both ways. Thanks!
