  1. Barry, I'm looking for any info on the 2 1985 Mack Superliner Magnums that were sold at Watts. At one point one of them was owned by my cousin Micheal Huppenthal up until several years ago when Ted Crea bought it. It had a 36 inch Able body bunk on it. Also is there any pictures of these two truck when they were new? I'm very interested in the Magnums so I would be greatful for any info or pictures you could provide. Thanks, Josh Yoos.
  2. John, I received the email but the email blocked the photos and said they were unsafe. I've never had this problem before and I'm not rely sure what went wrong. Can you try and send them again.   3. The Mack V8 you mentioned with the twin turbos was an ENDT864 V8. The R700 it was in would have been was a R719. At the time Mack had two V8s the END864 [non turbo] and the ENDT864 [twin turbo]. The twin turboed 864s are very rare and are hard to find because they made so few. These were the predecesors to the ENDT865 and ENDT866 both of which were single turbo charged. I might be a little off on the ENDT864 sequence because they made some with different horsepower ratings , but I'm pretty positive the ENDT864 was the twin turboed one [T standing for turbo]. As I said before though the 864s were only made as non turbo or twin turbos and they were the only Mack V8 to ever be made with twin turbos. That should pretty well explain about Mack twin turboed V8. Thanks, Josh.

  5. I'm looking for any info and, or pictures of the Mack ENDT1000 V8. It is basically is an E9 V8 with no air to air cooler. I have some pictures to proove this in an old E9 overhaul manual. My Dad has seen two of these. Both were in R700 or RD700 dump trucks. So as not get any one confused this is not an ENDT865-866 or an E9 but looks just like an E9 except for the cross over intake manifold runs strait to the turbo like the 865-866 rather than through an air to air cooler like an E9. It was designated the ENDT1000 for being 998 cu. in., it produced 350 HP., and was a 4 vavle unlike the old 2 valve V8s. I would like to find out what year these were produced, what model of trucks the were put in, and how many were made before being switched to the E9 400. I will post the picures of what the intake looks like in a few days to show the difference between the 1000 and E9. Have any of you seen one before? It might sound a bit strange but it did exist for a short while and is extremely rare. Again to look at it you would think it was an E9, but if you look closely it has a different intake system. I know 865s and E9s very well and the 1000 is neither, but again it looks almost exactly like an E9. I would greatly appreciate any further info you might have on this engine or any pictures.   6. What kind of shape was it in other than the blown E9 ? Could it be bought and fixed or at least bought for a good price [it's not worth to much with a blown engine]? Is it even worth getting? Could you get some pictures of it? I would like to see what it looks like now after 25 years of use. By the way nice shot of the Magnum though it could use the stripes .Thanks, Josh.

  9. I'm curious as to what happened to the Gas Turbine Prototype 's. I know about the Cruiseliner in the Mack Museum but I've only seen a couple of pitures of it. I know there was 3, so what happened to the other 2? I also know one was a Superliner but what was the 3rd? My Dad knows where there was a Superliner that had a Gas Turbine sign on the hood. :mack1:It had no engine but it still had the big Turbine stacks on it. It was still white and blue and it was in really good shape. I included 3 pictures I found 2 of the Superliner and 1 of the Cruisliner but I don't know if the Superliner is the one my Dad found or not because I never seen it myself. If only had the one Gas Turbine Superliner then He found it, but it has since disappeared. Thanks for any help on the matter, Josh.
  10. I'm looking for pictures of Superliner and Ultraliner MAGNUM's. If you have any pictures of one or own one please post some pictures and try and include the vin number to each one if you can. I know some of you on here have one or more so please post pictures of them if you can. \ The pictures I enclosed are of my cousins Magnum's [the blue one is not really a Magnum] and Will Wingo's.   11. I would like to know more about the Mack Freedom Series which consisted of 200 Mack Superliners and Ultraliners. They were made in 1986 following the 1985 Magnums as a limited edtion for small fleets and owner operators. Other than that all I know about them is that they where painted dark grey with a red pin stripe and were made with the following engines: E6 350 to the E9 400, 450, and 500. Also they only had an option of level III or IV interiors. I have only seen 2 of them other than the ones on a brochure I found and would like to see more pictures of them if anybody has some. Any other info would be greatly appreciated. Here's the two I've seen and the brochure The one with the bunk has an E9 500 and an aluminum frame and is no longer in the US. I don't have any info on the other. Thanks for any help you can provide, Josh.

Will, This from that book of my Dad's: Versailles Mack; Versailles, Ohio Mineola Mack Distributors, Inc.; Hicksville, New York Wiegand Mack Sales And Service, Inc.; Sterling Hieghts, Michigan As for the others on the above list the book I have does not show them. The book is from 1988 so mabey something happened to them in the years between 1988 and 1984/1985. Thanks for the build sheet for the B421.   14. How bought some pictures. I have a post up looking for pictures of both Superliner and Ultraliner Magnums. Could you take some pictures of the Interior as well because I don't have any pictures of MH Magnum Interiors?? The best looking MH's and Spuerliner's are Magnums in my opinion. Thanks, Josh.
