I can't wait to get the rollback home, been without for going on 3 years now, thats pretty rough when you are used to having one.I've been looking but seems like they were always too high priced, too far away or they needed too much work. This one was close to home, just needs some tires, and was way within my budget, and the biggest plus of all,it's a Mack.My old one hauled alot of old trucks in,alot of scrap, plus did quite a bit of custom hauling with it,tractors, machinery, small buildings, all kinda stuff, they are so handy. I made the mistake of leaving it at my south farm unattended for a week, came back and it had been trashed, all the glass and lights busted out, radiator and battery stolen, chain cut off end of winch cable. Was always going to swap the bed onto another truck, but time never allowed, then next thing I knew, the whole damn thing came up missing. Not one dime of insurance on it either,my screw up there, just had liability.
Mikey got home with the V8 Superliner,we checked it all over, put in batteries and got it to start, but it wound up to about 2500 and wouldn't shut down,we got it shut down within a couple minutes, messed with it some ore,now it won;t fire. It will hit on a minute snort of starting fluid, but dies right away. Something in the pump I guess.
Mike,
My one buddy did that once. It didn't hurt the engine but it trashed the pump. My brother and I took the side cover off the pump and lots of pieces fell on the work bunch. Did you and Mikey check the rack to see if it was stuck? It will be a neat little Superliner when you get it going. Are you going to to leave it a single axle? Does it have the red diamond tuck interior like mine?
Thanks, Josh

We're looking for a decent Mack Superliner or RD with at least 24 foot of frame behind the cab for a block truck at work. It doesn't really matter what engine is has or if it even has an engine. Also It would be nice if it had 44,000 rears with 18,000 or 20,000 front axle. If you know of any call My Dad (Mark Yoos) at (814)720-2616 or send me a PM. If he doesn't answer leave a message.
Many Thanks, Josh

I found out who bought the Superliner. A guy who lives on the other side of town that I know bought it. I'll post some pics of it when he gets it home.
Thanks, Josh

I was the second bidder. I never wanted to pay that much for the nameplate but i was curious to find out how deep the other guy pocket was. I guess the seller is pretty happy. If the winner is a bmt member, I'm sorry for the high price but you got a rare one.
I might know who it was . Pockets aren't deep just stuborn .

I'd buy it in a heart beat if it were closer . It looks to good to part out in my opinion. I would think somebody on here has a garage that needs a Superliner. Come on guys !

Here's more Superliners; several of RW Sidelys Superliners, One of My hood I just got from JR Collins off the Buckeye Bulldog, one of my buddy Bob Burkehouse's when he came and got his B61 after my Brother and I painted it and finally JR Collins last Superliner road truck that we are currently in the process of putting a new cab on because it was completely rotted out.

That is awesome Josh. I have both of those pictures too. The older one is sitting in a frame by my computer besided me. I was talking with JR a few weeks ago and we were talking about the older picture and he told me to check out the girl by the bulldog(on the hood) with the nice rack in the blue shirt lol. Anyone who knows JR would get a laugh at that.
I have intensions of frameing both out pictures but I just haven't got to it yet . Thats funny you mention that because the girl in the blue shirt in the picture is actually my cousin Charlotte! Small world !
Thanks, Josh

I remember when I would go to N ILL Mack they had a picture of that truck hooked to the sled rollin coal. It was under
some plexiglass at the parts counter. Was a cool picture. Got to see it in person a couple years ago at the Dekalb Co.
fair. Cool truck.
I think this is the picture you might be talking about. As far as I know this picture was taken a my local county fair grounds and it was taken when he still called it KILLER. I also have some pictures I'll post tomorrow(IF I REMEMBER ) of it and Mother(JRs old truck he hauled the buckeye with)that my Dad took back in 1985 when it was dam near new. FYI , the doors in the pictures are not chopped.
Thanks Josh
