  1. That could probably be said for about 99% of that generation, not just specifically democrats or republicans. They would all be upset with the way our country has turned out after fighting WW2.
  2. Like Joey said, thats a hard setup to beat. Keep us posted what you decide to do, ill keep it in mind. I appreciate you you posting that info
  3. Do you know what rears you have? Mack or are they something else? Might be looking for a cut off.
  4. @IH Farms 2 I know thats a super old post, but i was curious what ever happened to thst old neway cutoff.
  5. Im not sure if Cyclone diesel and machine shop in Polk, OH can help or not being that you're working on Mack. They are awsome on big Caterpillar, Cummins and other brands. Alot of pulling and high performance stuff.....Might be worth a call 419-945-2137
  6. Yes, you can use regular frame bolts to reinstall. They dont have to be huck bolts.
  7. That hurts my feelings Joey!
  8. I got fuel yesterday. This is Southern Ohio at a little mom and pop fuel stop i buy from all the time. Its usually one of the cheapest places in the area. I dont know what to say, but im pissed.
  9. Ahhh I gotcha. Yeah I remember that one. That didn't seem like a very good design from the start. The Mack TD i believe it was called.
  10. Right! Thats what im say.....did they put enough of them in there holy crap.
  11. Wow. It wouldn't suprise me tho....I wonder if thats the MaxAir suspension? They referred to it as the "twisted sister" suspension, i thought was kinda weird. I believe that was a hendrickson suspension as well.
  12. @Geoff Weeks as far as Neway, i think its the best there is withe the EXCEPTION of that ARDAB you're speaking of. Thats a really rare suspension. Ive only ever seen maybe 2 or 3 of them in person. Neway messed up on that design and Ive heard nobody really liked that model. The ARD heavy Neway and the more modern ADZ were both great suspensions. The weak link on the ARD were the equalizer bar bushings, and the weak link on the ADZ were the top tri-link bushings up top. We have both where I work and thats been the only issues. They are expensive as an option and to get parts for....but they are good suspensions.
  13. Yeah. Alot going on with that suspension in the pictures. To many moving parts....but i bet it rides well.I have AG460 8 bag on my KW and I like mine, but its hard on top bushing at the axle housing location .It has the big 1" air lines to the air bags and it helps the air move around and equalize and that is why it rides good. The older series KW 8 bags (AG100) I dont like, as they do ride rough due to the small air lines and bushing design. At the end, I agree.....the new Mack 8 bag looks like it could be a maintenance nightmare?
  14. Friend sent me these. The new 8 bag looks heavy duty in person and probably rides well, but it has alot of parts to it and its pretty sophisticated looking in its design. Also, it has a TON of bolts, fasteners and brackets. That might be bad for the guys in the rust belt later down the road with salt and rust hiding in around and under all those parts and pieces.....just my opinion there.
