    Ok guys so taking it to the shop tomorrow for check up and apparently cups and injectors will see what they say . Mean while a code popped up p0401 and before I parked it noticed what seemed diesel in my exhaust could all this be due to cups and injectors or this a separate issue guys . It was leaking out behind the turbo was dripping form the flex exhaust tube on the bolts on it had a drip of it . I want to say its diesel my smell is not all their got the cold and was stuffed, definitely not oil . Could it be that the 7 th injector is overspraying or what .

    Hello , have a front crankshaft seal leak on 2014 cxu613 with the mp8 with 490k miles . Was trying to get some ideas on how to tackle this project . Any inputs would be greatly appreciated. Basically what would be all that needs to removed for this install was trying to look up at you tube but dint see anything posted on front crankshaft seal . thanks in advance

    It won’t start on its own I have to pump it at the filter housing . But once it starts it dosent stumble or anything fires right up .

    Ok Mack pro I found a small leak I believe it is where the power steering pump and fuel are together, I was adjusting my clutch and saw it it’s on the driver side by transmission. Would this be causing hard starts . So you mentioned their is a weep hole we’re this two attach . How could I go ok about fixing this .

    One more thing I noticed , For some reason exhaust temp not rising during regen . Seems like regen never ended or couldn’t get thru . Can cups cause problems with regens .

    Does anybody know the parts needed for this kit to convert for air clutch to cable .

    I’m having the same issue we’re you able to adjust this air linkage clutch how did you adjust the linkage .

    My engine starts and runs it’s just when I shut it down has hard time starting back up . Have been getting less response and shake or vibration up hill .

    Hello guys , Ok I ran clear hose from the front of head and yes getting a lot of aeration so guessing it’s cups ? Any other thoughts ? Here’s the pic

    Yes I don’t have that davco filter housing mine is a 2014 don’t know if that makes a difference .

    I don’t know if it’s davco filter housing or not it has the Manuel primer pump that comes out when you twist it . Ok as soon as I get a change I’m going to run that hose from the head and see aeration .

    no fuel dint leak from the housin ok I’ll check all fittings coming from tank to filter housing thanks .

    Ok here’s the issue I have a 2014 with the mp8 having problems starting up truck in the mornings . Once it’s on , drives good and if you turn it off it starts right back up . Today I did something different I primed it from the fuel filter housing and it started right up . Also I do have bubbles coming out passenger tank return line I believe it is the return line . What could be the issue? Cups, injector , or fuel filter housing . Thanks

    We’re is this 7th injector air supply located . I am having hard start in the mornings and bubbles in passenger side tank .

    Yes it looks like their is the first 2 missing bolts at the bottom . I guess somebody broke them before .

    It’s on the driver side of motor intake manifold don’t know if theirs a egr tube by their . And yes crack is like 5 inches from beginning of intake started at the bottom and worked it’s way up pretty long crack . Trying to find the torque specs for intake manifold.

    Ok found the issue cracked intake manifold . How should I go about removing it dint want to break any bolts .

    Ok yes I gave it a look today dint see anything found one small leak but dint fix the problem . I still don’t get past 30 psi and have that squeaky whining noise while in high gears and over 20 psi . I’m a keep on checking just ordered a turbo boost leak tester .

    Ok that would be in front of turbo correct .

    Have a noise coming from the engine can not really hear where it’s coming from . Seems like a belt squeak or something like that but only does it in higher gears and while in gear does not do nothing on idle . Also have to be on the pedal halfway or all the way down kind of noticed when boost goes over 20psi. I’m thinking it might be something turbo related have noticed my boost did not go past 30psi when I noticed this issue . It used to easily go 34 paso to 36 while loaded . Just trying too see if anybody has encountered something similar.

    Oh ok yes it doesn’t have a plug on it and it is leaking thru their it seems like a slow leak will keep and eye on it . And possible wash the undercarriage to see if it’s coming from somewhere else. thanks mack pro

    I don’t think it’s a breather but I believe oil is coming out from their not a lot just a little and runs down to where the trans and engine meet .
