So...Nobodys ever had to replace the starter on their E9?
-
If you want lower LOW, get your 13spd back box rebuilt into a 18spd. Your low/low will now be 14.4 and still have a low of 12.3 bobo
Um actually the back box is the same on a 13/18 speed, the difference is the fact that you "can't" use deep reduction in low range to get the 14.40. However you can swap the shifter or just pop the plastic stop out of the 13 speed shifter to select deep reduction in low range giving the same low gear. However in an Eaton the gears and bearings in the front box in low range are different than those in an 18 speed, they're bigger for more torque capacity.
NO, The difference between an eaton 13 and the 18 is in the back end, the 18 has a much larger bearing on the overdrive gear, The 13 depending on the age actual has no bearing on the overdrive gear ONLY on a mack tranny can you "just pop the plastic stop out" you can just change the splitter valve and shifter handle on the eaton but it wont last long because of the missing bearing bobo

Never mind the mess behind the overhead! the cardboard cut out is the template for the extra brackets i made to carry the extra weight. you can see extra holes (pics #2,#5) i riveted the plates to existing roof brackets and and spot weld lip where roof is attached.
It took quite awhile to remold the the console, i cut it out and flipped it. but now i can see the radio screen! I also added metal strips to stiffen the mounting ledge then went over it with fiber glass, the sanded the console smooth. BOBO

100611190a.jpgFixedWidth.jpgmaple-leaf-5-md.pngHave never been to Canada but saw it from the other side of the river.
By the word I feel myself as Canada-related because my R's made in the maple leaf country.
Although if anybody could clear me up a bit of what the Canada day is it would be nice.
Happy day to all the Canadians!
Vald Canada day celebrates the start of Canada's independence from Britain.

i got 5 (led) from I80, for the center light, I cut it down with hack saw to same lenght as stock. It had a flat rib in same spot, painted it with some chrome paint and then clear coated. On the roof and you cant notice the difference till they light up! bobo
