  1. Brocky , the top 2 pictures were originally color, The H 67 was on a calendar my Dad  had, I think it was taken on US 52 , Fancy Gap , North of Winston Salem, the other was taken in the parking lot of Hennis home office in Winston Salem, both hung in our house when I was growing up, the black and white is just one of many that Dad had. I have one taken with Pilot Mt in the background, it’s a F model ( Remember Andy Griffin, Mt Pilot ? , that’s where the name came from) . The Hennis Brothers were originally from Mt Airy , Same as Andy Griffin. I think Shirley Mitchell bought them in about 1947 and moved to Winston Salem.

  2. O Lord,, I would probably be almost done with My LJ if I hadn’t went down the Backdrop road,, I spent days at that old trucking co getting Backdrops off old Emeryvilles , and I have changed mine 3 times, looking for the perfect sound, and there’s not much room under a LJ cab , I don’t think one I tried is on that list, it was off a Emeryville also, No baffles, it turned out the side. The one with the baffles has a sound of its own!

I’ll try to find a picture of it.

  3. Yes , I put one on my H Model when I installed a Rollback bed, I just hung the pump from a cross member ( made a mounting bracket) ran a pto shaft with a slip joint from PTO to Pump , we also have a B Model dump with the same setup. I’m sure all the older trucks were the same setup. I don’t think the Pumps were mounted to the PTOs until the early 80s , I have 3 later 80s Superliners  and the pumps are mounted directly to the PTO .
