IDK what happened, I was locked out a couple days. But ty for the response. I never knew something like that existed. Maybe why I never maimed myself with one.
Mark, the google security certificate expired on 12- 31 or 1-1.
and it took a while for it to renew.
i could not log on with either the laptop, or desktop, phone only. and it was a royal pain to do it on the phone too.

i have a bunch of home made tools out in the boxes too.
fan clutch nut wrench for fords is a piece of 1/2 bar stock cut for a 4 flat fit.
02 sensor and oil pressure/ temp sensor sockets are impact sockets with one flat cut out.
i have 2 9/16 open/box wrenches bent 180 to fit behind cowls for stack clamps.
also a 90° adaptor for a 4 1/2 grinder for getting into real tight places where the machine will not fit. i took an adaptor for a 1/2 inch drill and modified it to fit the grinder.
took a pair of pliers and modified them to fit up under the cowl of 90's gm cars to remove the clamps off heater hoses.
those are just a few off the top of my head.

besides the setback front axle, the other easy id is the headlights. almost looks like they are "frenched in"
deep into the hood on radiator side.
they were big with cement mixer companies here in Jersey and New York.

Are the midliners the ones that are awful to find parts for? Like $10,000 for the brake treadle valve?
yup. midliners are signified by the "MS" or "CS" in their model. as in MS200, MS250, or MS300 and built by RVI of france. RVI is or was Renault.

I'm game for just about any combo that is EASY to find parts and EASY to maintain. Nothing worse than finding a project and all the parts to support it are like hens teeth. In the last 25 years, I have done DOZENS of restorations. Cars, tractors, soda machines, jukeboxes, pinball machines, vintage machining tools, antique farm implements, furniture, clocks, and on and on.......I'm a glutton for punishment.
I was thinking it might be easier to buy a whole truck to swap
Anyone know what is the limit for posts on this forum? I got a notification that I had met the maximum amount of posts for the day. Is that for new guys?
It very well may be a restriction on new members.
I have not heard or seen it before.

My son said he was watching TV with my grandson the other day. They were watching a cookie bake off on the food channel and he said he turned it off when the gay guy started frosting and decorating his cookies with "gay pride bu!! $h!t" instead of just making cookies.
Yesterday he said Graham was bored and looking for something to watch so he said "you can watch the gay dude on the food channel" and Graham said "I don't want to know how to make cookies shaped like a dick". He's 11.
buy that boy an extra scoop of ice cream from me!!!

something on that truck looks "off" .
almost looks like front axle tires are smaller than rear axle.
