Looked into Medicare, BC and D today. Got a lot of helpful information down at the old people store guy in charge Was very informative. Didn’t make it look too scary He said when you’re ready for it, come down here and I will walk you through everything and we find the right plan

Bob. here in jersey blue cross/blue shield partnered with medicare and created Braven Health.

basically the same thing as a high quality blue cross policy, but it only costs what Medicare pays.

    just something to look into.

Just need to get this tension off my chest.  I just called my local Mack parts Dealer and asked for an offset cam key for an E-Tech..  The line went quiet, and then I hear,  uhhh we don't have anything like that here.  Then he says, we are a Mack dealer sir..  My blood pressure went up instantly..  I said,,,,,, AN E-TECH IS A MACK ENGINE...  Anyway,  I feel better now... Thanks, Jojo

I have to rotate it with an engine crane and support it with jack stands, otherwise it will spin around and kill me if it hits me. :)

  4. not quite following what you mean.

you want to go from the old style like this:

Chrome Old-Style 13 Speed Shift Knob For Eaton/Fuller | AUTOMANN USA

to the new style like this:

GENUINE EATON FULLER TRANSMISSION 13 SPEED SHIFT KNOB MASTER VALVE ASSEMBLY

you should be able to just swap  them as long as the new knob threads onto your shift handle.

than figure out the proper routing of the air lines.

I think I’ve heard of them and Max. I am not positive like you, Bob I thought that’s what I heard. Isn’t that what that guy had with the two red fire engines short while back he wound up buying them both ….B  models… and yes bud welcome aboard.. bob

they were Hall Scott engines in those B21's .i believe they were 606 CI.. but they may also have been the newer 590 CI engines.

  8. Bob, i figured the rock would be the big job because my shoulders do not work like they did 28 years ago last time i did it when i built this place. (i gutted it to the 4 bare walls and replaced EVERYTHING)

but no, the rock only took 2 1/2 hours.

the plumbing fought me all the way.

i had 3 valves that were seized that i had to replace. and since i was not intent on replacing them, i also had to go to the store and buy new ones.

than i had intended to hook the sink  drain to the vent cleanout port i put in 28 years ago.......no way jose!!!

4 foot pipe wrench with a 4 foot "cheater pipe" and it laughed at me. even after heating it to sizzling with a oxy torch with rosebud head.

so back off to the store for a  fernco T-Y to cut into the copper vent pipe and do it the hard way.
