  1. you could run the rack out if its a manual motor and put in some hotter injectors in . you would not want to build it to a factory spec 350 or 400 due to the fact there are low torque rise and you have a high torque rise motor and probley a 6 or 7 spd trans? I did have a Ch once that some one put in a e7 350 and it had a t-2060 and it did pull well.

  2. Really? I've never seen a single-screw DM! Learn something new every day.

Got any pics or literature on a single? I'd sure like to see one.

wrecker co. south of pittsburg pa has one heavy fronts and 26k rear and stout bed on it I should took some pics of it. It would out lift a stretched out pete with a century bed and didn't even have stablizer legs

  3. It wasn't meant as a personal comment in any way, shape or form. Just an observation that cab sizes and the lifestyle expectations of truckers have changed over the last 30 years. Look at it this way: at one time a telephone was considered a luxury. But times change.

Also, we could argue about professionalism in truck drivers all day long. Or not - I might agree with you. But professionalism doesn't have a whole heck of a lot to do with cab size.

BTW I do find it a bit disconcerting that you refer to old time truckers as "clean." I tend to think of cleanliness in professionals as a given. I've never heard any one say, "I just got a new lawyer/acountant/financial planner. (S)he's very clean and professional." Just sayin'. (And yes, I've been in enough truck stops to know that these days cleanliness is not a given in the trucking industry).

yes but not all of us have to run coast to coast pulling a box or skate board to make a living. you have any idea how useful a 70" condo and wide cab is out in the woods?
