  1. Thanks all for your input! Ron I noticed Sunbelt Rentals gets the Betts HD 1/2 fenders on their tractors. I'm unsure if I want smooth or the corrugated style on mine.
  2. Okay. I guess some brands of stainless aren't too pricey except for hodgebuilt. Wanting fulls because I don't pull with the truck, just goes to shows and am always afraid something will fly off the tires and hit back of the cab or even worse the window. Thanks for the info & pics!
  3. A friend of mine is looking for the 2 air intake tubes that came on the earlier R models. Please let me me know if anyone has any. Thanks
  4. Want to replace the 55-gal factory steel fuel tanks on my R model tractor with aluminum ones. If anyone has any for sale of knows of any please let me know. I've heard of Alumitank but have yet to see what it would cost.
  5. Hi all, wanting to replace my 1/4 fenders with either stainless or aluminum full fenders. Wanting to go with the smooth finish but seems like the style with the pleats set the older trucks off more. Wanting a set that go about half way down the tires. Any suggestions on brands would be of great help. Thanks!
  6. Where can the zephyr pads and compound be bought? How would you remove pitting?

  9. My 89 R688ST with E-6 350 9-speed maxitorque will surge after upshifting or driving slow in a parking lot, field etc. I usually recover from this by either getting off accelerator or riding the clutch. Thinking maybe the throttle linkage? I replaced the clevis pin with a bolt and a castle nut to see if that helps (shaft on pin was worn). Took for a ride and it's still not acting right. Any ideas as what could be wrong? Thanks
  10. My 89 R688ST with E6 350 9-speed maxitorque will surge after upshifting or when driving real slow in a parking lot, field etc. I usually recover from this by either getting of accelerator or ride the clutch. Thinking maybe the throttle linkage at the injection pump? I replaced the clevis pin with a bolt ( shaft on pin was worn) and a castle nut with cotter pin. Still seems to be slop in the linkage though. Any input is appreciated. Thanks
