  2. Hello , I am working on Mack CH613 1993, looking to calibrate my speedometer, what do I need to know like transmission ratio, rear ratio. any help would be helpful.
  3. did you check oil presser with a different gauge at the engine to see what it might be, and did you replace the oil pump when you rebuilt the motor.
  4. thanks for the input, I will give it a try, not sure on the oil screw I removed the brake from a motor then put it on the motor I am working on. 5. hey all, working on a 237 putting on a Jacobs compression release brake model 675. dose any one know the adjustment for the slave cylinder ? I normally take the adjuster down till it touches the washer then back off 3/4 turn, the trouble is brake dose not want to work at all, I have 12 volts at solenoids and they seem to be working and engine is warmed up to temp. just not sure on the adjuster never had this before. thanks, any thoughts.
  6. sound like winter big dog, might be filters or soft rubber fuel line, or something down in the tank being sucked up in the fuel tube, could be supply pump it self, when the truck shuts off how long before it starts back up, there are a lot of unknowing here like are you pulling fuel from both tanks or just one, like cross over line, fuel line rub , hope this is a little help
  7. hi Dave, some problem makes you wonder, did you look at the fuel tube down in the fuel tank some times they get a small crack in them and all so look at the vent hose on top of the tank , it sounds like you might have two problem, hope not, hope this helps.
  8. just a thought, did you check the drive line, might be the carrier bearing or a universal joint.
  9. you might look at the filter on the compressor, to see if it came loose or fell off, had that happen to me just a thought .
  10. hey there :whistling:yes that will work fine, because it will be on a circuit of it own, as you need like marker lights and running light and so on. like most electric it all takes time.
  11. hi, is your truck positive ground or negative ground. there should be two solenoid on the cow ,if it is neg. ground then hook the wire to positive side of battery or from positive side of solenoid then to battery. hope this helps because when the key is turn on the solenoid is then + positive on the other side then that wire leads to the panel box, that is where the head light switch should gets power through a fuse. there are a couple of ways but you need a fuse or breaker in line if a switch is in line. if I can I while try to post a diagram.
  12. hi , you mite looking at your battery cables that go over the top of the trans, I had the same problem in two trucks, it does not take much. by the way nice truck
