  1. Hello to all my fellow MACK TRUCK Owners and Enthusiasats.

Check out my new ALBUM ant the BMT Members Gallery to see all fantastick MACK TRUCKS at our local TRUCK FEST 2008!!!!

Check Out my new album at:

    http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?aut...m&album=471

Here some pictures of MACK TRUCKS.

This is a MACK R600 Street Racing Truck

Is a SINGLE AXLE model powered by that awesome MACK EM6 285 engine and a 5 speed MACK GearBox.

  2. Nice looking MACK.

I wonder if I can SPEC some similar tractor with the MP-7 ENGINE with the lowest Horse Power (325 HP ???) to pull a 30 foot flat bed trailer. I want a truck that can be light weight and DEPENDABLE. I am just pulling a 30 foot (feet??) so I don't need a BIG TRUCK like a KW with sleper and a 600 hp ENGINE.

HOW CAN I SPEC MY TRUCK ?

  3. I want to say thank you to all of you for your comments about the pictures. I will be honored if all of you the real MACK TRUCK ENTHUSIAST can spread the word about this pictures and how a MACK TRUCK can be customized and compete in TRUCK SHOWS and beat the common and some times boring KW and Petes!!!

Did you all see the pictures of that over-chromed Red MACK R600 ????

This baby kicks some KW ass on that show and not to say that this year they are going after the "MORE ILUMINATED TRUCK" award or prize.

This proves some people are wrong when they say only trucks that deserve show timew are KW and PETES only.

MACK TRUCKS not only great for show....They go to work next day.....

  4. These are other MACK TRUCKS that are purpose built for DRAG RACING.

Here you have DUMONT TRANSPORT a MACK R Truck wich is now DRAG RACING MACK !!! This BULLDOG has the smallest engine on the "FUNNY-TRUCK" /"TOP-DIESEL" Class. Most important fact is that the engine is its original MACK EM6 285 horsepower engine and the gear box is that beloved MACK 5 SPEED!!!! This bad dog is running 11.8 seconds on the 1/4 mile at over 109 MPH!!!

    GALERIA%201%20049.jpg

    GALERIA%201%20010.jpg

Now here we have something interesting.

What started out as a MACK SUPERLINER mounted on a custom built, ALUMINUM CHASSIS RAILS (Replicating the original MACK chassis rails with ALUMINUM) has evolved to become a MACK GRANITE Drag Racing FUNNY TRUCK. Name MAMUT RACING (MAMUT for that mythical prehistoric huge elephant-like creature) this one sported a V8 BIG BORE 2 CYCLE DETROIT DIESEL  at its first stages. Rummors say the crew has changed to a MACK engine. Why ? Because those big DETROIT DIESEL racing engines take a lot of $$$$$$$$$$$ just to keep em running. They saw the performance of the truck above and how with its MACK EM6 285 Engine has become one of the fastest.

    GALERIA%201%20023.jpg

    GALERIA%201%20026.jpg

    GALERIA%201%20027.jpg

I hope they make the change to a MACK DIESEL engine.

  5. SWEEEEET- 4 SLEEK REAR TIRES!!!!!

    DSC00831.jpg

Check out the RAWHIDE interior

    DSC00804.jpg

Hey Pops... I think someone took our engine.

    DSC00845.jpg

Diesel Engine model is yet to be deceided. They are askung for a BIG V8 2 CICLE DETROIT DIESEL, but it is too expensive. And me and my EVIL MIND on the other hand are educating this crew about the power of the MACK 19 LITER 998 c.i.d V8 E-9 ENGINE

I hope they choose the E9 Engine.

  6. Hello to all my fellow MACK TRUCKenthusiasts.

This is a picture gallery of a purpose built drag racing MACK TRUCK that COLLAZO TRANSPORT is building, to race the 1/4 mile. The goal is to run 9 seconds or less!!!!!!

The truck has a FULL CHASSIS FRAME that has been certified by NHRA for the "FUNNY-TRUCK" and "TOP-DIESEL" class. The body consist of Carbon-Fiber replicas of a MACK VISION Day-Cab. The front end is an original MACK VISION hood that has been modified and they remove some weight of it too.

  7. next trip is puerto rico...

Well you better start making your move...Next week on SUNDAY MAY 4 2008 we will have a huge TRUCK SHOW 2008 at our local race track in PONCE, PUERTO RICO. The best thing is that the race track has an HOTEL in wich you can stay. Come on just do a weekend escape to PUERTO RICO. Come on MAY 3 and you can see the Bike Show and Lightning show for trucks, and next day on MAY 4 2008 we have the TRUCK SHOW!!!!!

    www.eltuque.com

The Hotel name is HOTEL EL TUQUE and it is located in the town of PONCE, PUERTO RICO in the South prt of the island.

  8. You guys sure know how to chrome a Bulldog out. My favorite is the R MODEL HAULING THE OLD KENWORTH HOW APPROPRIATE. Just kidding it looks to me like it was a lot of fun. The photos gave me some good ideas of things I can do to my truck. Keep up the good work.

    Mackdaddy1911a1...Gravedigger

Well the chroming of all those MACK sure is nice. It shows that you can have a good working truck that it can be good for truck shows either. MACK TRUCKS are regaining thieir spot on the CONSTRUCCTION and ON-ROAD aplicatinons because they are DEPENDABLE and we have a strong PARTS and SUPPORT system here by our local MACK TRUCKS Dealer. Also MACK TRUCK PARTS are widely available so we do not have problems finding parts for lets say an EM6 285 HP Engine. I blows my mind how can a MACK TRUCK with this EM6 285 HP engine can pull a heavy trailr with only a 5 speed gearbox...Can others do that ?

The pictures of the old MACK R600 hauling a TRUCK SWOW CLASSIC KENWORTH shows you that while you have to retire other trucks from service and just make them show worthy your good ol' BULLDOG MACK will till work for 30 more years.

On MAY 4 2008 WE WILL HAVE OUR FIRST TRUCK SHOW of the season. I will post some pictures and videos of our DRAG RACING MACK TRUCKS and SHOW AND RIDE MACK TRUCKS...

Come on, just do it, escape to PUERTO RICO for the next weekend so you can see all of this gorgeous MACK TRUCKS at our show.

  9. Hello to al my fellow MACK TRUCKS Owners and Enthusiasts.

In the next month (May) on the specific date MAY 4 2008 We will be holding our first local TRUCK SHOW. This year the show will be called TRUCK AND BIKE SHOW Bikes on Saturday May 3 2008 and TRUCKS on May 4 2008. As usual there will be a battle of TRUCKS in wich I will be the leader of the MACK TRUCKS group. MACK will face the other "trucks" in a Challenge called DIESEL NATIONALS 2008.

Well, we will see that because last year MACK was the CHAMPION on Dump Trucks and Concrete Mixers.

We even have a purpose built DRAG RACING RIG a MACK R-600 powered by a purpose built MACK DIESEL engine (that beloved EM6 285 ) that can propell this truck on the 1/4 mile in about 11 seconds.

I will take pictures of all MACK TRUCKS at our 2008 TRUCK AND BIKE SHOW.

    MACK VS KENWORTH

    MACK VS INTERNATIONAL

MACK is the true and only truck I like.

  10. Mack3P/Barry

What is the chance of bringing back the R model cab as class 5-7 truck. Mack doesn't have a contendor in this range. The design start up cost would be minimal. This would still be a modern looking cab. This would solve the R model cab parts for well into the future. There are after market companies producing R and RD hoods. Maybee I'm nuts but I think this would be a winner.

Well, I am drawing some scketches on my PC of what could be the next MACK R series model. Mack ended the R Model Saga with the RD LEGEND SERIES. If MACK kept the R model on its production line we could have seen it updated with those "slanted windows" , "M' style "grill", Bushguard fender flares, New lights , redesigned front end....But you know...thanks to Sweden Volvo for killing Mack's top work Dog.

  11. Looks like some sort of CADILLAC SUV on steroids...Dont know why, but that front hood reminds me about some Cadillacs...Better Nick name them CADYSCADIA...

CASCADIA AND LONESTAR getting trucks very far in design terms.

I buy truck for how they do a god work not because they "LOOK GOOD"

    MACK FOR EVER

  12. I have to disagree on the ugliest truck of all time thing-I still think that's that weird looking cabover Peterbilt from the-late 80's probably? I can't remember, but it was one ugly a#@ truck!

This INTERTRASHIONAL has the right name LONESTAR because it will be a LONE "STAR". Ugliest truck I have ever seen. Just look at INTERNATIONAL fans drolling over it. Only good thing is that it will not have an INTERNATIONAL Deiesel engine on it.

That truck looks like a PT CRUISER on Steroids.

Put the INTERTRASHIONAL LoneStar aside with the latest generation of FREIGHTLINER Argosy cab-over...Ewwwwwwww

  13. Here in Puerto Rico we LOVE to customize our trucks with lots of chrome parts. There is a trend now about making those MACK TRUCKS look really clean and sharp with all that chrome and lights accesories. I am glad with this trend because I hate to go to truck shows and only watch rows of KENWORTHS.

You can see my photo album in this site, and see why I focused on MACK TRUCKS on our DIESEL NATIONALS. People here are fixing those DM /R /RD models and taking them to the shows

    gallery_1677_392_94940.jpg

  14. The PR didn't click till now...Puerto Rico. Looking at those two pictures and the bunch that were posted previously on this site, there's some damn nice looking trucks down that way...

Thinking I might honeymoon there. No passport B.S. to deal with.

You can actually see my photo album TRUCK FEST 2007 MACK-A-THON were you can see more photos of MACK TRUCKS from PUERTO RICO. I took those photos at our local 2007 DIESEL NATIONALS held on November 2007.

Well better set that HONEYMOON for the October or November 2008 period if you come to PUERTO RICO , so while you are here you can go to the 2008 DIESEL NATIONALS nad see all this MACKS and other "trucks" at MECH-TECH SPEEDWAY (LA PISTA DEL TUQUE) in Ponce Puerto Rico.

I will like to see some of you guys here in Puerto Rico taking a vacation.

If you have the chance to come to the event I can be your translator.

We will have a purpose built all full chassis MACK TRUCK in the "FUNNY TRUCK" class. Last time the older version run an 11.8 second with the smallest engine on the class, a MACK EM6 285,beating all those MARINE DETROIIT DIESELS.

    gallery_1677_392_73562.jpg

This was the previous DUMONT TRANSPORT purpose built MACK racing truck. It has the smallest engine on the FUNNY TRUCK class, a MACK EM6 285 that is modified and set a record of 11.8 seconds on the 1/4 mile.

Now Dumont Transport will bring a new Racing MACK Funny Truck to the pit and this one will be an all purpose built full chassis (tubular frqame) with a carbon fiber Mack body replica and MACK DIESEL POWER.

    gallery_1677_392_52120.jpg

This is MAMUT RACING a purpose built MACK Racing Truck (FUNNY TRUCK class)

It was a Superliner before, but they have updated it to a modern MACK Granite body (Original MACK steel cab and doors amd Mack hood) mounted on a home built aluminum chassis (chassis rails replicated in aluminum) When it was a Superliner it had a DETRIOT V8 engine. I do not know if it still has that engine (hope they change to a E9)

Come to see them at our 2008 DIESEL NATIONALS. Truck shows are better when they are on a race track.

  15. Are you sure it's got a detroit? Good motor for on the highway only, but for anything else it is pretty much worthless. Kind of demeans the truck,no offense meant. :P

Those DETROIT DIESEL SERIES 60 are worthless motors. Think about that they have been arround since 1987 and DETROIT DIESEL still sells that trash of an engine.

Better go find one with the E-7 or E-9 engines and an all mack powertrain

  16. Know all about that-I don't own a truck except the B-model ,but where I work most of the trucks have the c-15 475 cats and there's always one or two at Carter cat being worked on for one thing or another. Not too much major stuff, but we've had a time with broken rocker arms, water leaks, oil leaks, etc. The starters haven't been lasting on them either.I'm driving a 2006 Peterbilt with about 350,000 miles on it now and i've had broken rocker arms twice, intake valve actuator malfunction twice, and one turbo put on it. The truck I drove before that, one of my all time favorites by the way,was a 2000 W-900 with a 525 N-14 Cummins that had almost 700,000 miles on it when Jeff traded it for the Pete.It ran great, pulled good, never broke down and got well over 5 mpg pulling heavy loads across the mountains.

The last new trucks they ordered they went back to the ISX Cummins. I don't know that they'll be any better. Drove a couple of them before, and it was always EGR problems. They're supposed to be in in October. Jeff turned my truck up to a 550 and it's really pulling good now,so I guess i'll be starting over too. I wouldn't mind giving one of those new Detroits a try,but now it's getting to the point where you have to buy a particular brand of truck to get the engine you want. I don't get to pick anything anyway,I just get to drive it. That 550's a "hawse" though-'til the engine light comes on.

Can you give me the production dates for the MACK F Series...I am tryn to find one made on their last year run so I can restore it and give it to my grandfather...

    Thanks for the help.

  17. You're right, that's what I always say-I pull in at the shop and the mixer is parked there still looking pretty good and it still works good and i'll say "now how many of these new Peterbilts,Freightliners,or Internationals will still be around in 43 years?" Most likely none of 'em.

And you're right about the emissions engines- when they have a particular engine available long enough to perfect it and get all the "bugs" out, like an N14 Cummins, they have to change it to meet the newest pollution standards so they have to start all over.

I've often wondered about if truck manufacturers did like the car makers and came out with an old look cab with all the latest bells and whistles, like a B-model cab, only bigger, or the old 2 story International DTC 405-always wanted to drive one of them!

Is a funny thing that here in Puerto Rico they call MACK TRUCKS to be the truck for the poor driver. Is not for the poor driver, MACK is the truck for the SMART DRIVER who does not want to spend all his $$$$$$$$$ on costly repairs. So we are not that poor.

Well those KENWORTHLESS, PETERTILT, FREIGHTLIGHTER AND INTERTRASHIONAL trucks will never beat my old 1989 MACK R600 that has been up graded to an all NEW MACK EM6 400 HP engine.

Some peolpe buy trucks because of their fashionable interiors...Who cares for that ? My old MACK can eat any of this newbies in a blink of an eye. Sure is not a 600 HP monster, but it can deliver th goods all day and all night 7 days a week 24 hour if you ask to do it.

My worst experience was with a KENWORTHLESS with a DETROIT DIESEL.Worst truck I have ever drive. How can KENWORTH call itself "THE WORLD'S BEST" when it has to rely on second hand suppliers. So that pesky DETROIT DIESEL motor ruin my KENWORTH'S reputation of "World's Best"

Let MACK be king of trucks.

Ohhhh that unbeatable CAMMEL BACK suspension... I won't trade it for nothing else.

    Sometimes technology makes things worst.
