I wonder how radios would work with a positive ground since the outer shield on the antenna wire is grounded

The only problem with using a negative ground device in a positive ground vehicle is you have to make shore the case or mound is not grounded

It’s amazing how one person’s leadership can change the course of a company

nice picture of "open air shop" ; sure brings back bad memories for me seeing a R-model on trailer. after loading a R-model on non-detachable lowbed and being in a major hurry;; stepped out of R model forgetting i just loaded it ; stepped out to a long way to ground level! one of many reasons my knees are past worn out.
Ouch, that hurts me just thing about it

I have one in the truck but my friends rarely turn there’s on.
back before cell phones that was all we had
today some of the clubs insist on proprietary radios or GMRS, FRS radios

Air the truck up, chock the wheels, release the parking brake and shut the engine off, then have someone hold the brake pedal and walk around and listen for the leak.
the last one I have was a faulty valve on the front brakes

Back in the 80’s I drove a 1975 DM600 roll off truck that started out as a power company truck. There were two air levers on the top of the dash, one was for the power divider lock and the other was differential lock. In the mud I would flip both levers and it would claw its ways through the mud turning all eight rear tires
currently i have an ex US Navy truck that has Detroit lockers in each rear axle and the air lockable power divider.
I also have a two axle truck with an air lockable rear axle. It is actually common for the tractors that were ordered to haul bottom dumps her in California

The emergency, red, is connected to the tank with no valve to pressurize the tank
the service, blue, is connected to the valve that is mounted on the tank.
thr brake chambers are connected to the valve on the tank
the valve on the tank serves as a relay since the service line does not produce enough air to operate the brakes by modern standards
the maxi lines are connected directly to the tank
the port location on the valve varies based on the valve

Trump is just trump
he does not appear to have changed dramatically from the real estate developer I remember from 30 years ago, unlike the career politicians he was or is running against

I would expect with a rig that big there isn’t much you could need to perform a rescue that you wouldn’t have with you. Probably biggest challenge would be remembering where everything is!
Thank you for sharing @GA_Dave
You need a short bus to follow the rig around to transport the rescue personnel

Quite normal
look up COLA air brake test
most trucks will loose air, it is only an issue if the compressor can’t keep up.
I don’t start chasing the leak until it happens over a very long lunch

Thanks.Oddly, when removing,a 15/16 wrench on the flats was too small,a 1" was too big,a 23mm fit perfectly.Would there be a metric version of these fittings?
Was there paint, rust, corrosion or other crap on the fitting or was it worn away to a smaller size?

Garrison can rebuild or remanufacture it.
the end piece that the tie rod screws into is NLA
if you pm me your email address I can send you the manuals

Why do you think the cylinder needs to be replaced?
-
Since you say power steering cylinder I suspect that you have an ad on system and not an integrated power steering box
if it is a garrison system. Garrison is still in business and will rebuild there system
Please post some pictures of the system so we can help you

Just going to be a Volvo with different badges on it, but no dog on the hood because that reduces the milage by .00000001

The coolant fan should be running when the ac is on and the compressor clutch is engaged, especially standing still.
the ECM may turn it off when the truck is moving
the ac will not work well unless air is moving through the condenser
