Speaking at a conference alongside his longtime friend Antonio Gracias, CEO of Valor Equity Partners, Musk said DOGE uncovered some eye-opening numbers regarding social security in 2024.

“We started at the top of the system. Mapping the whole system of social security to understand where all the fraud was. There’s a lot of great people there that showed us a lot of waste, so that came with a big list of stuff. But this is what jumped out at us. In 2021, you see 270,000 people; goes all the way to 2.1 million in 2024. These are non-citizens that are getting social security numbers,” says Antonio Gracias

As to how 2.1 million non-citizens received social security numbers in 2024, Gracias said the Biden administration had a policy that allowed migrants to enter the country and then register social security.

“When you come in the country, if you’re illegal, there’s a couple of ways to come in. You can come in through a port of entry and you can tell them you’re afraid and they’ll give you an asylum case, you’ll get an interview, then you get in. That’s one way to do it. Another way to do it is to just go to the border … walk up to a border patrol officer and you tell them you want to come in.”

“They have a couple of choices. They can charge you with a misdemeanor or a felony under 1325. Or they can make it an administrative offense. Like a parking ticket basically. They were told to do that. Make it an administrative offense under the last administration. You could walk across the border, they could release you on your own recognizance, and they give you a notice to appear at a judge. The wait time on judges are averaged six years … There’s only 700 [judges] and this is 5.5 million people.”

“Once you’re in the country and you got an asylum through one of these pathways, you can apply for a work document. You file a 765, you get this form called a 766, and then the social security administration automatically sends you in the mail a social security number. No interview. No ID.”

After weeks of discussion, Trump administration officials are finalizing a data-sharing agreement between the IRS and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), allowing immigration officials to use taxpayer databases to confirm the names and addresses of people who are in the country illegally.

According to public disclosures in 2023, Schumer is worth closer to $2.3 million, while Pocahontas is worth $9 million.

Jackson-Hewitt Tax Services has been caught handing out flyers in New York City advising illegal aliens on how to get up to $14,000 in tax refunds from the IRS.

Jackson-Hewitt’s representatives are handing out information outside the Roosevelt Hotel migrant shelter with tax filing tips showing illegal aliens how they can get thousands of dollars from the IRS based on how many children they claim to have.

A company flyer explains how illegal aliens can get a $7,650 refund if they claim one child, $12,635 if they have two, and $14,255 for three children.

Elon Musk noted that this sort of fraud is costing America billions and serving to attract illegals to this country.

President Trump intends to reshape the Smithsonian Institution with an executive order Thursday that targets funding to programs with “divisive narratives” and “improper ideology.”

There has been a “concerted and widespread” effort over the past decade to rewrite American history by replacing “objective facts” with a “distorted narrative driven by ideology rather than truth.”

His executive order puts Vice President JD Vance in charge of an effort to “remove improper ideology” from the Smithsonian Institution, its museums, education and research centers, and the National Zoo.

We are talking about serious plans on the American side with regard to Greenland. These plans have long-standing historical roots.

This may surprise some, only at first glance. It is a profound mistake to believe that these are some kind of extravagant talks of the new American administration. Nothing of the sort.

In fact, the United States had such plans back in the 1860s. Even then, the American administration was considering the possibility of annexing Greenland and Iceland. But this idea did not receive support from Congress at the time.

The Trump administration has directed two intelligence agencies to train their satellite surveillance capabilities on the U.S.-Mexico border region as part of a sweeping crackdown on illegal immigration and drug cartels.

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), which are part of the Department of Defense, oversee spy satellites and analyze imagery for the Pentagon and other intelligence organizations.

President Trump today announced 25% tariffs on all cars, light trucks and certain auto parts made outside of the U.S., a much wider scope than automakers had expected. 

The levies go into effect on April 2.

The tariffs have the potential to devastate the entire auto-making and auto parts-making industry in Canada. It employs about 500,000 people, and accounts for about 10 percent of the country’s manufacturing gross domestic product. About 80 to 90 percent of Canada’s production is exported, and since an auto trade deal in 1965 Canadian factories have been scaled to supply the U.S. market. It would be impossible to operate existing factories only for the Canadian market.

One Republican who outright opposed Trump’s new tariffs was Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky, who has frequently spoken out in defense of free trade and called the new 25 percent levies “a mistake.”

“I think it’s a terrible idea,” Paul said, adding that it will be “bad for the economy” and “raise the price of cars.” He pointed out that the markets already slumped before Trump signed the order. “Trade is good for our country and good for prosperity.”

While Ford Super-Duty trucks are assembled in Kentucky, the 6.8L and 7.3L gasoline engines are sourced from Windsor, Canada and the Power Stroke 6.7L diesel engines come from Ford’s Chihuahua Engine Plant in Mexico. Ford developed its supply chain based on the USMCA and invested presuming that President Trump negotiated a solid agreement in 2018.

U.S. postmaster general Louis DeJoy resigned from his position Monday, earlier than expected after reportedly refusing to give Elon Musk's DOGE broad access to agency computer systems.

DeJoy is a former logistics magnate and Republican donor appointed by President Trump during the summer of 2020.

The news came after the President threatened to dissolve the USPS board, in contravention of U.S. law, which guarantees its independence and bipartisan governance.

DeJoy had fallen out of favor with the President after clashing with DOGE operatives over the extent of their access, and insisting that any major changes go through Congress.

President Trump was upset when he found out that National Security Adviser Mike Waltz accidentally (?) included a journalist in a group chat discussing plans for a military strike. 

But it wasn’t just because Waltz had potentially exposed national security secrets. The President was mad, and suspicious, that Waltz had Atlantic editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg’s number saved in his phone in the first place. 

The President was also particularly perturbed by the embarrassing nature of the episode.

Maryland based district judge, Theodore Chuang, ruled that dismantling USAID is unconstitutional.

Odd. USAID and its dismantling have nothing whatsoever to do with the Constitution.
