is your air compressor plumbed into your intake air? only thing I can think of, most c series ive seen are using charged air for the compressor, but maybe yours is different.

just put a electronic tach like that in my superliner however the flywheel teeth count isn't kosher with the info sent with the tach . idle speed was like 450 on tach my photo tach said 600 took a while to get them to match. had to try about 10 combos on the slides to get it .

did the clutch pedal suddenly have more free pedal before you adjusted it? I have seen clutch discs explode and pile up in the clutch housing. if starting in gear don't free it up this might be the problem

to test the air dryer I use a air hose and blow gun take the 1/4 in line off the air governer that controls the air dryer purge valve and insert blow gun each time you apply air to hose it should purge then seal if this is good work on unloader as superdog outlined

curiosity is killing the cat so to speak my 89 rw713 has a extended front bumper and dual outboard air cleaners, this is the same as 90% of what I see on the west coast for 713's the rd 688's that we had mostly had extended front bumpers. when I look at photos of most of your guys trucks I don't see this stuff were there east coast west cost options

very very nice wish I had the time and coin to have done mine that way it was a short logger before I got it and either a log or the trailer tounge had been dropped on the drivers side of the roof took several days with a hammer and a pin gun to get it close enough for body filler and then a day of longboarding to make it work and look right. again very nice job!!!! like the dynamat too I think i'll have to try it

block the supply line and charge the line then see if you get any air from the service line. if no air apply foot brake and release see if air continues to bleed from service line after application.if air still escapes chase lines back from tractor protection valve to next valve [should be treddle valve] or possably application relay valve, if it go to a relay valve remove the control line and see if air bleeds from control line if no air replace relay valve. if air present chase control line down snd see what supplys it should be treddle valve if so replace treddle after checking for crap between valve and peddal

back on topic r= roadranger t=twin countershaft 9= 900 ft.lbs.torque 10= speed if poor memory serves me right you can flip 4 & 5 around on the main and counter shaves and make a rto910 o= overdrive. more on recent posts you mean the defroster fans weren't a/c ? the boss told me that was a/c

if your getting air when unhooking from a trailer out of the service port I take it that you left the supply charged {red knob pushed in} ? if this the case one of several things could be occurring 1st. trailer brakes partly applied. 2nd dirt or sunflower hulls built up under treddle valve {brake peddle} check 1 clean 2 then see what you get from service line. in the other question the qr valves are located next to the diffrentals between the air cans

I worked for case co. but that's the first drott 80 cruz air I ever seen with a excavator front. I had worked on them but all were rough terrain cranes. does anybody know if this is a prototype ? or mostly a east coast thing?

idiots just frickin idiots. all this b.s. costs money and must be paid by someone, I suppose in Europe this crap is minor but Europe don't move its goods from one coast line to the other like we do. we've now made engines less fuel efficient in the name of clean air ,and in the same breath said that its measured in pounds of carbon burnt. the way I see it is that we cant create new jobs in the private sector, best to regulate the few left out of existence by a slow expensive death ,and then bitch about companys moving over seas

well glad to see murphys law is still functioning properly. go one day and not check bmt and find out I missed out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the spring brake control relay valve wont help. you need to change the application relay control valve . and one wont interchange with the other because the application relay has a lower cracking pressure. if you put a spring brake relay in place of the application relay you will have very abrupt brakes because their cracking pressure is much higher.
