dual wing plows? must be a air port truck I'm guessing, can't picture that on a highway in dry snow with a cross wind be like sticking your head in a white bucket!
-
are drums heat checked? excessive brake dust in shoes? what vocation is truck used in? other drivers saying anything ?
-
pump timing sounds like the problem except for the bent valve, did it drop a valve? Had a mechanical 400 that the pump shop got the initial timing wrong on (figured that out after 2nd. rebuild in one month )
-
did the same length slacks get used? clevis pins in same hole? was lining changed ? if these are ok tail your driver for a few miles if they can burn up brakes that fast, shouldn't take too many miles to find out if rickey racer is at the wheel

I've got countless tailgate storys but the best mess I saw was a windrow belly dump with spread chains set accidently trip on the freeway at 65 mph and hauling drain rock, what a flippin mess I think the company had 20+ cars in the body shop. w.s.p. closed the freeway while we took a grader out to clear the rock. after that all trip switches got moved so c.b. cords couldn't get caught on the toggle sw.

nice clean r model, is it a tip turbine?

we had a rd with disc brakes 15 yr. ago brakes seemed ok until you needed parts. ended up converting to shoes and drums. never ran it in the winter thou don't know how they will get along with calcium chloride, I'd suspect a lot of stuck calipers. maybe nightmares like "p" shoes sezing on the anchor pins

some of these a-holes can wreck a 150# anvil with a feather duster. I cant figure it out are people really this lost in their own little world? paying attention doesn't cost that much, cant tell you how many times I,ve seen people lose pup trailers and 5th wheel trailers because they didn't double check shit! and their susposibly pros. makes a guy real uneasy around common drivers.

ive seen both offset slack adjuster arms and off set clevis and since slacks come in different lengths and that's obvious the slacks been changed. I'd be for finding a proper parts list for that setup. as for having to turn the clamps I remember are 87 value liners having smaller chambers 24 or 27 they also did some steeped chambers I don't know about the b models. I'd say do a little home work first to get it right. (too damn many lawyers in this world)

What we have now is living proof that you can do anything you want once you get there. And anything goes to get you there.

yah id love to see the plumbing on that thing I wonder if the super charger is feeding the air 2 air to remove turbo lag and then the turbo boosts the super charger?
-
the t1070 used a small air slave cylinder about 1 1/2 x 4 if memory serves me and a air switch similar to a power divider sw.had a93 rd 688 with this set up. you would just have to match the throw of the cyl. to the cable or linkage arm and drill a hole in the arm and fab a bracket to anchor it to.

check if truck uses 2 application relay valves, one could be bad or if it uses one relay check hose plumbing if front hoses use 90 fittings and rear don't that could be a issue also check slack adjusters for equal length also check size of chambers on both axles . have you watched the brakes apply? could s cams be installed bassawkards?
if every thing checks out plumb 150psi air gauges onto front and rear axles and note application psi on both axles if this checks out check brake lining maybe damn good lining on frt. axle and soft butter on rear.
