This weekend Macknutt(aka Mike) and Joe K had a little truck show/party at their shop. Got a heck of alot of trucks to show
up for a word of mouth, kinda last minute show. Was awesome! A ton of cool rides showed up, one of which was James Millers
Superliner. I'm sure most of you remember awhile back I posted pictures of a Superliner getting the cab and hood removed.
This is the truck they went on, bumper was also included. He said he had this truck back together in a weekend! He ran it
awhile and then gave it a repaint and a touch up. The inside was immaculate. Real nice guy. He had some pictures on his
phone of the truck sitting out on Navy Pier while he was making a delivery. So the old Superliner did not die in vein. Went
to a good home. I added the before and after pics for those who don't remember.

These f**king guys guys... The large contractors that let these guys work for them are to blame. That's what they should get for $92 an hour, -12% brokers fee. Some of the stuff on the road around here is scary.
I agree. The other problem is that this state mandates that they have to have a certain percentage of minority help.
So they have to use these clowns regardless, although I'm pretty sure they're fine with it because they bid these jobs
for $125 an hour to the trucks and then shave $20 or $30 off the top and then pay these idiots. So even if these
guys are running around here at 45mph because they are on the clock and they lose three trucks a week due to stupidity
the contractor still comes out on top. Along 90 and the Elgin-O'hare there is about %90 garbage working out there.
About two weeks ago my friend had his lowboy broken apart along 90 and was about to load a Volvo loader when
one of the dummies drove right into the back of the loader on the jobsite. Drove right into the counter weight. Duh!!!
No problem though, just tied a rope around the light and drove off. I would be devastated if I did something that stupid to
my truck. That is at least five grand in damage to that truck, but I'm sure that guy will duct tape a headlight to it
and run it. The idiots are taking over!

The old autocar is used to haul one of the steam engines into the show. He was hauling get it home Monday down 72
He moves all of Peterson Propane's tractors back to Hampshire. And quite a few others. He keeps that truck busy this time of year.

I had a full weekend. Took the blue Pete down to the Chi-Town Large car show in Lynwood on Saturday. The only Mack there
was the Brites R-model. Was also a Brockway there from IN. Today I wandered over to the Sycamore steam show & Threshing
Bee. Saw a Christensen R-model, a cool Autocar that I've seen around but never got a picture of till today, a neat front shovel
and Lootens old steam engine. Not all R-models, just some cool old stuff!

It's parked on McLean Blvd at my grandma's they don't use it much. It's a 70's model I think. It looks good until you get closer one of these days they are gonna go to dump the box and either the scissor lift will go thru the floor or the box is going to flop off the truck
My B model was parked off Mclean before I brought it home. Used to sit over on 25 before that.

kinda think its the same truck. they painted the bumper and air cleaner silver.
I think so to. That is a weird bumper, I think the truck was given a bath and a coat of Krylon.

I just ditched Directv this year. They raised my rates again and I said nope! Cancel it! Was gonna work out to be just shy of $1,000
a year for stupid tv. During the summer months I hardly have time to watch it anyway. Does anybody remember Swamp Loggers with
Bobby Goodson, I liked that show. Not alot of manufactured drama, just the actual B.S that went along with the job. Was enough
drama just with that. Ax men suck. There is no way cutting down trees is that intense. I worked for a land clearing company for 4
years and didn't even get in a fist fight once. Maybe I was doing it wrong.

A friend of mine spotted this yesterday in Lake Station IN. I'm guessing all these trucks are headed for a boat ride.
The only one I remember seeing around is the orange one. I think I have a picture of it from a year ago out running.
It stood out because it has square turn signals and somebody painted the horns orange.

My old employer had some pictures on FB that I borrowed. The Value Liner started out as a log truck and was converted to
a rolloff to move dumpsters around the yard. It got the life beat out of it and was retired last year. Now they have designated
the DM to be the new yard dog. The picture of the DM is from a few years ago, it doesn't look as good anymore. They were
using it off and on around the yard and the clowns there beat it up pretty bad.

Was on a job today and ran across two trucks delivering pipe. Was actually a Stark Mack there also with pipe but he was on the other
side of the job. One was the red RD and the other.....sorry its a Pete. I know, Mack forum. But I have seen this guy in passing for years
and I stopped to talk to him for a bit. Super nice guy from down by Tinley Park. Every time I see this old Pete it is always shining. The
truck is a 1978 359 that he bought from a friend in 86, and has been running it ever since. Just had to give some him some credit, keeping
an almost 40 year old truck looking so nice, that's a feat no matter what brand you drive.
