Wow that's some big storm pipe where is that at were you hauling gravel in there
It's gonna be a huge new building for 3-M. 42 million dollar project. We took in 60,000 ton of CA6 for the building pad and I bet we're
gonna be close to that much CA7 for the plumbers. Most of the pipe came from Welch. I bet we have a couple more weeks to go with
the plumbers yet. Spent Mon.Tues and Wed there. Hopefully the weather will hold. I think in the spring we will be back to do the parking
lots.

Couple macks on rt 23 between Marengo and Harvard far end one is a superdog
Those are Weidner Farms trucks. I have a couple pictures of the Superliner posted way back somewhere. He said its got 1.2 mil miles
on the clock. One owner.

Well, I just brought the truck home tonight! Tricky at first with having an electronic throttle but ill get used to it. So far I like it
Tons of torque down low. The mack isn't bad compared to it. Mack fits me like a glove but the pete is a whole other truck. Ill post pics if anyone wants to see
Truck looks good. Hope it works out for you.

a friend of mine got a E-Pak steel trailer. looks nice. haven't really had a chance to look it over, but he's pretty particular about his stuff
I'm just gonna take a guess, your talking about Tommy Powell. His new trailer looks nice. I don't think they are giving those
E-Pak's away. They came with a hefty price tag. I see they are making the big trailers as well. Saw a couple at Louisville this year.

I was just thinking about BJ's trailer as soon as I started reading this thread.
I think he waited over 10 weeks and I'll have to ask him again but I'm pretty sure he said he wouldn't deal with Kens again.
I've always head the trailer is what makes the difference. I know BJ said its night and day difference between his spring ride steel and his air ride aluminum. And if you do order new, get the lift axle like BJ did. Makes sense since you are empty all the time.
I heard Trailstars are junk. I'd only think about MAC or East. BJ's is a MAC.
And I know of someone else that was talking about buying the Underhill truck.
I think they just over promised on the delivery date. It came in a month later than expected but otherwise I think everything else was fine.

Any of those yazel heil dumps left or did they take the slow boat to to china already.
The mention of Yazel reminded me that I had an Axle Equipment post card with a Yazel truck on it. I remember up to a couple years
ago seeing trailers with Yazel and Martin still running around. I know where two Martin trailers are but haven't seen a Yazel in awhile.

Everybody is scrambling to move snow equipment today! It is always nice to get a break from gravel. If you ever need a truck or two to haul snow for your guy in Lake County, let me know. Would be happy to do it. What is Ernies asking for the 359? My buddy has a really clean one too.
I've seen that Petersen truck running around before, saw their Pete six wheeler headed up 294 today. I think Ernie said he wanted 20K for it,
minus the headache rack. Would be a nice truck for somebody. As far as the snow hauling goes, you can have all of it in northern IL, I'm
gonna go inside and take a nap!

What were you doing in this neck of the woods? Had one running out of Vulcan Grayslake yesterday
I was moving Bobcats for a customer of ours that is getting ready for snow season. Had a couple days worth, had 18 to move,
which was great because it got me out of hauling gravel! While I was up that way I also stopped at Ernies. He is selling the 84
359 so I had to go BS with Ernie for a minute and take a look at the truck, but I need another truck like I need another hole in
my head. Ernie did say he might be buying a Mack to replace it, he's just looking for a decent pre-emmisions truck that isn't
destroyed.

Nice find. I think I like the old school Pete paint job rather than all pink, neat story though.

Spent the day in Lake County yesterday. Saw a ton of R-models and other trucks but it seems they were always somewhere
that I couldn't get a good shot of them. I did get one from behind of the R-Jones R-model pulling the lowboy. Saw a newer silver/grey
Mack that looked like it belonged to RSD501, didn't get a picture though. Also saw a Ford 9000 cabover pulling a dump trailer down
83 by the landfill. Haven't seen one those running around in awhile.

So I had off today and Snake and I were running some errands and I got some good pics.
I believe the green RDs are former Plote trucks and the white with orange stripes might be old Lowe trucks. One of my friends thinks the brownish R might be an old Waste Management truck.
These pics were taken on Virginia in in the owner of Sunsets yard next to Waste Management.
I'm guessing they are for sale. They just showed up,this week.
The trucks with the orange stripes are old PF Materials trucks out of Elk Grove. The one still has the name on the hood.
I believe those DM's are also related, just a different name on them. PF used to have a bunch of trucks running around
15 years ago. Had a few nice Pete's and those RD's. The last time I saw any of them they were all beat to SH*T!

Ebay/Pay Pal have gone nuts with their seller fees. I try to use them as little as possible anymore.

51st and cottage grove man you get to go to the fun parts of town also I see
Right! There was a guy shot to death last week at 51st & California while trying to rob a store. A conceal carry guy shot the robber
to death. Oh well, One less piece of shit in the world. I actually had to go to the University of Chicago. It's funny, UIC is beautiful,
but go two blocks in any direction and your in the heart of the ghetto!

I have a 63 inch Peterbilt bunk for sale. It came off a 92 so it is pre-Unibilt and no air ride mounts. Unibilt came
about around 94, so this one missed it by a couple years. Interior is all there. It is grey. The bunk needs paint and
some body work but over all is not too bad. I am asking $1,500 obo. I might be able to deliver for a price, otherwise
it's cash & carry. If someone does buy it I will need to get rid of it shortly thereafter, I cannot store it forever. If anyone
is interested please PM me and I will get back to you. Shoot me an offer if interested.

Dekalb. There are two buildings there already and they are putting this one up. I think they are moving out of the facility on Barber-Greene rd
which was the old CAT challenger plant and before that the old Barber-Greene paver plant. I think they wanted all there buildings right next
to each other.
