I am in the Seattle area but my driveway and garage only has so many parking spaces and my pockets are only so deep. Not to mention the woman who will likely cap the truck count someday. Its too bad as well as I want an E model but I have two projects on the plate and upkeep on a few others.

Lots of work to be done. There has been some early Mack sheet metal on Ebay lately. On gthe site there are some vendors that can track down old mack parts. Are you doing a to the bolt show quality restoration or just a decent make it a truck again?

If it was closer I would likely pick it up for the price. Curious to know if it runs. Noticed it has budds

Could be a pretty sweet deal for the money. http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/3715885592.html It has left a nice little black spot where it has sat for 15 years.

I sent the guy an email on a few about BMT and the Mack museum to help him out on his way of hopefully restoring a historical piece.

Love for the detroits. I have a few even bought an 8v53 block and crank to eventually build a nice little 53 series V8. Here is another detroit you guys might find intesting an even more rare 12v53 (they only built 15 for prototype runs...)
Also if you havent seen the first Mike Harrah video when the turbos were on the 12v71..

Might as well start with the basics and get it mechanically sound. If the cummins works use it
