I think the company Nalbone Equipment was from South Jersey.I may be wrong.
Nalbone was a small excavating outfit located off of RT33 in Hamilton Square, NJ. At one time they may have been a dump body outfitter.
I can't find any info on them on Google at the moment as they've been gone for about 25 years.

The Corbett units are awesome. NJ was such a hotbed of heavy machinery back in the old days.

That Hightstown R-model is real close to me. It's got MG plates which means it's a township or county truck.

Growing up in the heart of horse country in New Jersey (imagine that) I fondly remember the F-models with the horseshoe grille. It seemed that every horse pullman was a Ralph G. Smith or a Brook Ledge from Oley.

Excellent pics! Thanks for sharing those.

As I remember Mutrie also had a number of White 4000's
There's a shot of the 4000 on this page.

a quick google search produced a couple of nice shots that can be viewed on Hank's Truck Pictures.

I'm just sending the link. You can open the page and scroll down to view the pics.
Hank's is still a wonderful resource despite the efforts of some of the contributors.

Was this at Englishtown? i saw and photographed the very same truck,i spoke to the owner, and seem to remember he was from North Jersey somewhere............................................Mark
Yes, Mark. Raceway Park Diesel Drags when they were sponsored by Crazy Eddie!!!! The owner at the time was Bob McLain from Buttzville, NJ.
The truck believe it or not still exists. I stumbled on some pics of it in its current condition on Flickr. The owner I assume is in Florida.

Chuck, thanks so much for posting this picture! i remember them well! The funny part is that outfit was right under my nose the whole time and I never knew it. The Penske (South Plainfield) shop was directly across the street from them but by the time I hired on with them (Fall 94) they had ceased operations. C-F and Central Transport were adjacent.

does anyone remember Tryon Trucking? My Dad was leased to them for years and was always getting load out of Newark.

Tryon was in Morrisville / Fairless Hills PA and hauled a lot of steel out the US Steel Fairless Works.

Great pics David!
What is the cab size on the Evel truck? It's too big for a daycab but too short for a sleeper.
-
The F-model is on Shipping Wars right now for anyone who did not see it
I just caught it tonight. I got a good laugh from it.
It sounds like Robb Mariani wants the Evel truck finished for the Diesel Trucking Nationals in September of this year. I'd like to see the finished product and I hope ETC stays close to original with this one. Red or Blue?

Hey Chuck,is the Columbus Flea Market still around? ..........Mark
Sure is. My wife and I go there once a week for fresh vegetables.
Now I just head down 130 to Mastore's Diner!! It takes me about 45 to 50 mi from my houseBULLHUSK
Mastoris is the place to go for sure! It's just 5 minutes for me. Cheesebread, yum!!
I read with great interest about your V12 Mack. Sounds like an awesome truck. Good luck on getting her back on the road and I'd like to see it someday at a local show.
Another cool A-CAR!

I'm gonna take a stab that it's a '70 or '71 based on the cast grille. Aime Bellavance hauled a lot of granite out of the quarries in Vermont. They still do but with Navistars now. http://www.bellavancetrucking.com/
