  1. Ok I will bite! Is there is phase 1 ,2 ,3 and what are they and what is phase 4? Also the RD800 was an awsome looking truck and a big work horse of a truck. So it will be very interesting how the Titan will look with a steel hood on it. Also with putting any kind of sleeper on the Titan with the cab being so high it seem like it will not look just right. And that 150,000 price tag I guess we will have to get use to that price and pay it if we want to buy one. Nothing we can do about the price I guess. But I still thinks its over priced compared to other trucks with somewhat the same specs. But what do I know:) Terry
  2. Dave, I here you on the round about price from the saleman. I do like the looks of the Titan and I am woundering when will a titan will arrive at the binghamton loc store. I talked to a saleman up here and he his working on selling a Titan Tractor to a milk hauler up here. I see they brought up the 09 Mack chu613 70" midrise rawhide up here at the Binghamton Loc and took the 09 Mack pinacle cxu613 to the scranton Loc and haveing a big blow out sale on them. Anyone else here about prices's on the Titans yet? Terry
  3. At $150,000 A piece who can and will afford then in NEPA and the Southern Tier of N.Y.??????? Hope they were ordered trucks and sold allready becuase if there stock trucks they will be sitting there for awhile intill they they give a big HUGE discount on them so maybe poeple can and will afford these Titans becuase I still think $150 grand for those truck as they sit is way too much. Did u ask the salesman that told u the titan u spoke about was sold allready for 150 grand? Oh yea I forgot tuzzie did run macks not too long ago but now he runs mostly Petes and some KW's. I really like that Red Pete 379 ext hood Tri axle Dump he has. I see his trucks just about everyday running in my area.
  4. WOW! The GU with an auto is probaly 10 grand extra. My brother bought a new 1988 RW713 superliner 350 mack,12spd,20f,44r, 18' steel bibeua dump,ta for 77,000 NEW! But that was 22yrs ago. And its still running and looks nice and in great shape still. These new truck price's I just cant beleave when in two years they drop in price 30 to 50 grand. How can drivers afford these trucks? No wounder why new trucks are not selling off the lots becuase there are still new 07's ans 08's lots of them they cant sell and giving big huge discounts on them and they still have them. It will be very intresting how these new titan's sell and who will buy them. Also in a year down the road how the value of them will be if they cost 140 grand with no 5th wheel. I will be watching very closely on these Titans and see how they pan out. Sorry about the rantin and ravin here but i just cant beleave the I would see the day that U would pay 195 grand for a mack dump. But I guess I just saw the day:) Thanks for listen, all my best, Terry E Davis of Johnson City N.Y.
  5. 150,000 for that truck as it sits???????????? I think its a little bit over priced. I will ask my uncle about that truck as he works for that dealership in the Binghamton N.Y. location. 10 grand for a lift sounds right and 35 grand for what brand and type of dump body? Becuuase 195 grand for a mack tri axle dump does not sound right or any kind of dump of that kind. Maybe Tuzzie will buy it :)lol All my best, Terry E Davis Of Johnson City N. Y.
  6. Get use to it guys.I am born and bred in brockway country in upstate new york. Mack did the same to Brockway in 1977. So i guess its karma sad to say.
  7. Wow, Here in Binghamton N.Y. at our mack dealer we had a 3 pack with MR's i forgot there new name and they also broke down. That sounds bad for mack sorry to say. Also is mack coming back out with the CL700??????????? All my best, Terry E Davis of Johnson City N.Y.
  8. Yes Henry Cook was the old brockway dealership in the country. Now the son owns the dealership's now. When they sold it a few years back they sold it to a big corporation out of texas and then they ran it in the ground and hardy sold any trucks at all.So the son bought it back and also bought simpon mack from charlie terricone and famliy in scranton.Iwas goona say bolus but last time i knew that they bought new trucks from mack was in 01 when they bought a few ch600 sleepers then after that they bought some freightshakers like kane did over the years. But my point of this post was if mack dealerships want to keep mack soley they would refuse to consolidate with a volvo dealership to keep mack going strong. So if they do this then volvo wont so called run mack in to the ground like is being said in other post in this forum. If cook bros can do this and not consolidate with volvo why could other mack dealerships do this?Becuase if then do we wont have to worry about maybe seeing mack slowly being like a volvo.I dont know i am just talking and coming up with ideas in my head.Cooks Bros, there biggest part of there business is selling and running parts all over the north east here in pa/ny area and beyond.I think it was a very good move for the cook family to buy simpon mack to gain alot of strong mack custmer base simpon has in nepa area.I guess the terricone family had enough of the truck business and cook offered them the right price so thy got out when it was good for them.Just about everyday i go thru cooks lot on bingamtom and see what new and used trucks they recieved in.One thing i am woundering is does housby mack has anything to do with cooks or what?Housy mack is from out in the midwest some were were they have mack dealerships. How i know this is housby mack has late model dump trucks and tractors they sell in the scraton area some wheres.Housby mack had a 02 peterbilt long hood dump truck red in color they sold to a guy that runs for tuzzie trucking out of carbondale pa. Well enough rameling here becuase i like to talk trucks intill next time!lol:) All my best, TERRY E DAVIS OF JOHNSON CITY N.Y.
  9. My mack dealership in binghamton ny is open on saturday also they own the mack dealership in scranton pa:)With in the last 2 or 3 years the mack dealership has been selling a lots of mack trucks and years before they were not selling muck trucks.Kane from scranton they had 5 or 7 new trucks in 06 that come out of binghamton store.Wiestem's bought 6 new macks in 07.They sold 4 new rawhides so far. Also in 06 they sold close to 30 trucks to a guy in new jersey the runs friuts and veggys. They were the cx613 vision long wheel base to put a 26" reefer body on it.So our Mack dealership here in binghamton is selling lots of trucks. We also have a volvo dealership and they dont nearly the amont of trucks that our mack dealership does.Plus our mack dealership is owned by the same owners since i think 1950's and the volvo dealership is owned by diffrent poeple for the last 20 years or so. So there two separate dealership owned by two separate familys. Why is it when volvo bought mack that now i see mack dealership's selling mack and visa versa? Our mack and volvo dealrship dont do that, why is this?I want to say more on this but i know it will start a fued do i wont. All my best, TERRY E DAVIS OF JOHNSON CITY N ..Y
  10. My name is Terry E Davis Of Johnson City N.Y. and my favorite mack is the Mack CL700 which i saw on this site they stopped makin it but they plan on replacing it in year 2008.My guess is they will change the nose on it and keep the cab the same. Also anybody know why they stopped putting sleepers on them?In our area we run mostly CL700 tri axle dump trucks and tri axle heavy hauler to pull low boys. There is a truckin outfit near me called Alnye Truckin from moravia ny and they run 95% mack CL700's.Since 1994 they run on a 2 year lease on then and at the end of 2 year lease or 300,000 mile they turn them in and get 30 more but in 02 and 03 they stopped and got 06's now. They run some 06's with some odd type sleepers on them that dont look good as the mack sleeper's they had before. Also why i think they held off on leasing the 06 mack's is the poeple they lease them from called beam mack has problems selling and wholesaleing them out becuase there is 30 of them everytime they renew a lease on new trucks every two years. The used truck market got saturated with all these alnye macks over the years and i seen them sitting on truck lots for over 3 yrs not being sold.Any truth to what i am saying i am only guessing on this.I also collect 1/64 scale trucks Kenworth and Mack.Any collectors here?Barry! u r doing a awsome job with this site and i am learning alot on mack.Well enough said for now and glad i found u guys here:) All my best, Terry E Davis of Johnson City N.Y.
