I asked Roger about it.  If I understood him correctly, they had it running last year when they brought it out of the junk yard.  This year they pulled it to where you saw it. I did not ask him the history.  A lot hog truck have disappeared since last year.  I did not see Roger after I walked through the junk yard so did not get to ask the fait of them.  Mike.

Thanks for the info Mike. I noticed a few pieces missing from the yard myself. Others moved to different areas with For Sale signs on them now.

It's what we have been waiting for. I've got my name in to demo upon arrival north of the 100th meridian

Looking forward to getting rid of a Volvo 780.

I watched the reveal myself and I thought "huh, just a vision with a bad facelift". All of this hype for this? But when I had seen this picture and thought that's not really bad.  I hate the hood mirrors and the grill was a little off putting at first and the headlights are not really doing it for me but the more I look at it, it grows on me.  I think its just something new we are not use to. Mack is not going to make the R models or Superliners, or B Models any more. That's a fact. They went for a new more modern look to set themselves apart from the rest of the over the road trucks. Its a bit harder and tougher looking than the rest of the Areo trucks out there. It may just get them some extra sales... or not. I'm withholding final decision until I see one in person.

    Hi JT,

Nice to hear from your side either, it's a long time since we discussed last.

Here's a couple of shots specially for you. Last weekend we had a small meeting which was called "Classic coupe day". Mostly MB and BMW. So you might enjoy:)

Nice C126 Mercedes! I've always had a soft spot for them. I was very tempted to buy one I took on trade in my old Dealership I worked at. It was an 89 560 SEC.  But those BMW's are fantastic!  So nice to see several Alpina B7 coupes and 8-series coupes together. I also see a C4 Corvette down the line as well.

  5. Vlad, I really enjoyed your pictures. I find it fascinating that there are that many American trucks running around your country. I also enjoy your pictures of your country. Please share more when you can. Good to hear from your again.

interesting to see the Holmdel Nursery trucks there, i was told they sold all of them after the owner died 3 years ago.

His son passed away a couple years ago. The owner is still alive. My buddy did an appraisal for insurance purposes on the B81 last year for them. I doubt the trucks would go up for sale any time soon.
