I bought both so will install it in the morning. You guys are all great people out there that are willing to help or give advice. My next task will be the a/c unit to get it back working again. Keep you posted on my endeavor
  2. Well i bought two new solenoids and have new cable made to bridge them. So i hope this will be the fix!!
  3. We located the solenoid under the cab on the drivers site in a black plastic box. One cable was loose on the top solenoid and if we bridge the bottom solenoid the truck fores wright up. I will replace them both at this time since the housing cover on to top one is loose. also will clean it up since there is a lot of dirt in the box.
  4. Ron do you have a picture or schematic on the location of the starter solenoid?
  5. I can agree, I'm a scania dealer in south Florida
  6. Sleepy we tried that as well no luck. The starter was replaced 2 years ago, but will try again tomorrow. How is our truck doing? IOU want to pull in the shop when back in Florida let me know.

  9. Ok I check to terminal switches at the fuse box at the passenger site. When you turn the switch it make a clicking sound and have power.is there a starter solenoid under the dash on the driver site as well? Spoke with barry today real ice helpful guy. Put me with the mechanic told me also to check the harness coming out of the cab driver site. There is a connection plug he told me to check. I will keep trouble shooting and asking questions if stock will report tomorrow my findings.
  10. My MH E9 start to having issues starting. I replaced the ignition switch in the dash, but still have no luck getting it started. I check the following: Checked terminal connections on batteries. have power all batteries are in good shape Checked starter motor, when bridged the poles on the starter directly it will spin but NOT engage the flywheel I think its a loose wire because two times the truck will start when wiggling the key ignition. However i do not have any luck since know its not doing any thing. HELLPPPPP I'm not a mechanic by trade so any advice is welcome.
  11. Thanks for all your great responses, I truly hope to meet up with you one day at one of the events. I would like to see if I can get a shop and parts manual for my MH.
  12. Thanks hope to get her ready and meet up with you guys on the next show.
  13. I know it's not related to this mack topic, but we are a dealer for Terex off road dump trucks, Terex lately took a position to deny as many warranty claims as possible to keep the profit margins up. So we deal with a lot of angry end users, and mostly we try to help them out thru our own check book. I guess it's corporate policy to go this route and screw the end users.
  14. Oh regarding the mud flaps, the truck was serviced there back in the days, and was originally sold new from there in 1993.
  15. Mark, no the truck dos not have a wet line kit. The box at the back is a toolbox. According to the first owner the a/stop working and he didn't bother to check it since he never really used it . I hope that a good recharge will do it.
  16. Thanks Ken, dos your MH also have the air operated throttle? Mine was replaced by a MR model air throttle need to adjust the rpm down.
  17. The following needs to be replaced or adjusted on my MH E9: Need four new cab shocks, need to replace two shocks on the rear axle, need new ignition switch in cab. Need door key replaced ( can't lock the driver door, check airpresure on the air throttle that controls the rpm ( any advice welcome) she runs a little high at 800 rpm stationary. And I need to check why the a/c is not working (any advice is welcome) all done we saved another dog from export, and she found a good home. When all is some I'm thinking to strip the chassis and paint it fire truck red in clouding the sun visor. And then we need to go to work to make some dow$$$$$.
