Can anyone tell me what that piece in the floor where the brake pedal is at is called? Is that part different on the older smaller cabs? The part that was there was rusted out pretty bad and when we removed the brake pedal to change the valve it fell apart. Big question is, can that part of the floor even be gotten anymore? I need to fix it so I can move the truck to my house. We lost our storage for it. Trying to avoid having to tow it. Thank you!!

no offence but it's called a floor board still. to save towing cost ; get a piece of metal flat stock ; cut a hole for brake pedal ; few screws to secure then move unit.  later time a  mor accurate piece can be fabricated. OR contact or fearless leader :WATT's  to discuss a proper floor section.

I think that floorboard section was the same for all R Models, even the 66 to 68 with the clutch pedal went down through the floor.
