you can flush it out with carbeurator cleaner,  or something that removes soot.  do you have a way to make a pressure tester for it to see if it leaks inside?  as far as the EGR valve,  I never tried to clean one,  but wonder if the carb cleaner sprayed on the shaft and inside the best you can,  not much room to work with..  unfortunately,  the egr valve will need replacing annually..   Theres a few others here that may have better answers than mine..  jojo

Why does the cooler need cleaned if it's plugged up with wet soot its probly leaking and no good as for egr valve I have worked on other brands most are non serviceable and the material gets corroded from the exhaust gasses and is usually broken when trying to take it apart
