Help with 1955 B-85F!

Recommended Posts

Anyone familiar with a Leece Neville system on a B-85F?  3 Parts...generator, rectifier, and regulator.  Rectifier is bad.  Either looking for one to replace for now, or input on changeover to newer alternator....any help appreciated!

I had a rectifier built for my 405A by a company in Adamstown Pa.  it cost $300-400.  The old one was arcing really bad but the truck still ran fine.  I was afraid it would catch on fire. I can get you the contact info next week if you need it.

Whay is your serial number?  My father has B85F1098 which is a 1955 from Harrisburg PA.
