darkkar Posted June 21, 2017 Share Posted June 21, 2017 I got a 1957 b 61 with a 673 tubro with a 5 and 3 trans. I got a r model with a 237 5 spd that i want to put in the b 61. Freightrain Posted June 21, 2017 Share Posted June 21, 2017 It is a basic bolt in. You will need to use the balancer and water pump off the 673. The 237 stuff is too long and would run into the radiator. I reused my front mount only because the 237 was missing. I would suppose it is the same anyway? Are you using the 5spd too? You will need to do something with the clutch as that is likely a pull style and the B is push. I'm still running my Triplex and have no issues. I had to build my own air intake. Was pretty simple using some 3 1/2" and 4" tubing and some silicone couplers. 1 Quote Larry 1959 B61 Liv'n Large......................
