aw12345 Posted August 17, 2016 Share Posted August 17, 2016 Any input on the fan clutch conversions for the MP7 and MP8's It's a good thing to get rid of the big oil filled clunker, however we are having trouble with getting the ecm's reflashed to get them to cycle properly. There are two versions a smaller oil filled one that is electronically controlled and the Horton air fan clutch. Mackpro Posted August 19, 2016 Share Posted August 19, 2016 Just the smaller Behr electric viscus and Horton 2 speed air are the only ones I have seen. Last week we ordered a replacement Borg Warner Cool Logic and got a retro fit Behr kit with fan and hub and clutch. We called Tech support and they set up the download and we were good to go. Mackpro Posted August 23, 2016 Share Posted August 23, 2016 I just got a Parts Service Bulletin in this morning and it seems there is another new brand of electric viscus fan clutch as AW12345 said above. Its called the Mahle EVISCO. But now that I have looked into it , its just the Behr fan clutch renamed. Mahle owns Behr.
