rightsaidfred Posted July 10, 2015 Share Posted July 10, 2015 In my '76 R 600, there is a hydraulic lifter type barrel as part of the rocker arm (possibly an engine brake device?). I was wondering what is the adjustment procedure. If I leave the usual tappet gap, the truck won't hardly run. turckster Posted July 10, 2015 Share Posted July 10, 2015 Its the Mack version of an engine brake, it adjusts the same as a regular exh. valve clearance- .024".
