mackglobal Posted March 1, 2015 Share Posted March 1, 2015 i recently bought that macho guy on my profile pix. it is 1986 Mack R686ST with E6 350 hp engine. I discovered the owner did not maintain the ugly guy well. The steering pump went bad and the steering was stiff. I changed the power steering pump but it is gushing oil at the point of the arrow on the attached pix. There is no professional here to assist on practical way of fixing. Please gurus in the forum should assist. I guess it should be the seal. and I was told it is not a job for the amateur but I can do it with a detailed guide.
