Need some info on the CRD 200 carrier

The CRD 200 series carries are extremely heavy duty. Unless you've hauling oversize/overweight, like dragline or something, it's overkill, in my opinion. Plus, new parts will be hard to find and VERY expensive. I'd stick with the 92/93 series.

At Grant Haulage our tractors were hauling 120,000lb gross. When the 200 series came out we speced them.

Our first batch of 200 series carriers we ordered in the 90's and had high failure rates from bearing issues to gear metal flaking or spawling. ( lots of Mack Warranty)

If I remember correctly, John Deere had the contract for making the gears of those 200 series carriers.(Correct me if I'm wrong)

The reliability of the parts didn't really improve so in the 2000's we switched over to Rockwell Meritor 46's. and never looked back. I have one heavy spec with 200 series Carriers and have only had the stupid power divider cause issues. We went Meritor.

They are over kill and not as good as 46 Meritors.
