I've noticed that oil is coming out from the breather that sits on top of centrifugal filter in my 99 Mack RD688S. I was wondering if someone can please help, I'd appreciate it. I've tried to look it up before asking this but I can't seem to find anywhere on the web where it states/illustrates where it's located. turckster Posted March 22, 2014 Share Posted March 22, 2014 The engine breather filter is in a canister located at the right(passenger) side of the front cover. The canister is mounted to the front cover. Once you get the lid off the cover, use needle nose pliers to remove the filter element. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
