e 9 turbos

Depends on s/n but its the same turbo on most of them from what I can find. The 95 would be set up with the charge air for a CL so depending on what you are putting it in you may need to swap some things. Now would be s good time for a turbo upgrade to keep your egt's down and get some more power if your gonna have to swap it anyway. Being a 95 E9 it should have the Bosch inline pump and the 89 450 may have an Ambac v pump if so the intake manifold is slightly different to fit the longer inline pump, with a little more info on your swap someone can get you pointed in the right direction.

A stock E9 tubo is the same for a 450 as a 500 it will work. 89 to 95 turbo should be the same. if it were pre 85 and had the flange type couplers and air to air piping I would say no. but even if you are going from 89 Ambac to 95 Robert Bosch and you pump is stock and tubos are stock it'll work. the air to air should work too. MH RW CL all same air to air. with an E9.

thanks guys, I did get more info. the 1989 e9-450 is a 6t1390 eng seral #with a schwitzer turbo pin#197514 mod# s4d-016 I think, the rivet partly blocked the last 2 numbers on the tag. the e9 500 is a 1995 with a 5n0483 seral # its turbo is a garrett pin# 4465779-2002r mod# tv7124
