leversole Posted February 26, 2013 Share Posted February 26, 2013 Don't know why someone with a working truck would not fix something as simple as a thermocouple! Tie wrap the old one out of the way and put a steel pipe plug in! WTF?I used everything in my arsenal to round the head off of the pipe plug! Had to saw it off flush to try and get it drilled out...got it drilled well enough to chisel it out...was able to chase the threads clean and move forward! The gauge works like a champ!
