30yearoldjunk Posted January 8, 2013 Share Posted January 8, 2013 My 77 DM has a pair of bolts on each side of the rear glass. These look like they were put there to hang accessories, like worklights or maybe a screen to keep me from knocking out my back glass, teeth, or head. Is this what those are for? If I take the bolts out does anything slide down on the inside never to be retrieved again? Does a big spring fly out never to be seen again? jakebrake86 Posted January 8, 2013 Share Posted January 8, 2013 I believe those bolts are there for glad hand holders.. I took them out when I painted my DM, then put some new grade 8 bolts back in the hole. dtressmer Posted January 16, 2013 Share Posted January 16, 2013 The passenger side is for the exhaust stack that had a plate with a rubber belt for isolation and driver side is for accessories.
