DodgeMan Posted July 30, 2012 Share Posted July 30, 2012 As we put the one side of my dads b model together i noticed the brake drum was cracked right there the heavy ring on the out side. So we got two brand new brake drums from gunite ( i think). Got that side all wraped up with new tires. Everything painted or powder coated.So last week we pulled the other side all apart started repairing the brakes etc. Got all that done now so its time to clean and paint the hub-spider. When i took it out to pressure wash it i noticed under the grease on the one spook where the wheel goes against there was a crack. I got my dad out to look at it and we found 3 or 4 more cracks. Looks like the over tighen the wheels and the taper pushed inword and cracked.So im looking for one good used hub, no brake drum or bearings. Mack #RB478 and 80j415 or 8Qj415. 22 inch hub.
