oldmacktrucks Posted June 3, 2012 Share Posted June 3, 2012 I know you guys know the answer to this one...Where can I find a thermostat seal installer tool for a 2 valve E6? I know the socket trick, but I always end up banging up the seal...and I'm never happy with the way it looks when the job is done. theakerstwo Posted June 5, 2012 Share Posted June 5, 2012 I and most mchanics i know use a 3/4 shocket that will just go thru th bore of the housing and push th stat in and i have done a few in my time and never messed one up.Cummins and cat same size and same way.
