front brakes

Recommended Posts

i was wandering if half inch air lines would be better than three eights, any one know if the bigger air line would have more stopping power than the smaller lines. what wound you guys go with. Thanks Ron

Hi Ron, you would not realize any difference. It is air pressure reacting against the diaphram in the brake chambers that relate to breaking force applied to the shoes. A larger air line would only allow more airflow, not pressure.

You will be happy with the items you have incorporated. I don't like not having front brakes myself and have done exactly as you have in the past.
