showandgo Posted January 23, 2007 Share Posted January 23, 2007 I am restoring a 1959 mack B61 tandem dump truck. It was originally red but then painted black. There isn't enough red paint on it to do a paint scan. Was there more than one shade of red back then? Does anyone know what the paint code is? PPG makes 'Mack Red" thats what I painted my B model frame with. B42Art Posted January 24, 2007 Share Posted January 24, 2007 I have a 1963 PPG / Ditzler paint chart and for Mack it lists for years 1952-1959 Light Red 400 #70211.
