bobo Posted July 15, 2011 Share Posted July 15, 2011 Im wanting to hook up a oil temp gauge on my E9 superliner, the truck was not built with the gauge,. I have looked for spots to put the sensor, on the back of oil cooler where oil pressure line comes off, I could tape into there, or I could just tee it off the gauge in the dash. any thoughts would help! bobo Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

My Superliner does not have one either and I've always wanted one. A good welder could put you a fitting in the oil pan, but I guess I have too much of my dad in me to drill a hole in a pefectly good oil pan. And I'm not sure teeing off the oil pressure line will give an accurate reading.
