Lmackattack Posted April 19, 2011 Share Posted April 19, 2011 I dont know the exact year mack sold the last flat hood R model but Seams that 89-90 was when I stopped seeing them and the sloped hood RDs came online...the RDs were just as good and thought they looked fresh considering how old the cab is. Doug Maney Posted April 19, 2011 Share Posted April 19, 2011 The RD facelift hood was introduced in '91 as a '92 from what I recall. The cowl is different between the old R and the facelift hood. The original R hood contour matched the cowl. The facelift had a cowl much like the Superliner. Quote Interested in Old Trucks?
