Superdog Posted March 6, 2011 Share Posted March 6, 2011 Hello,I have a mack 12 speed trans model TRTXL1070B,what do these numbers mean?and where can i get a service manual for it?TR - TransmissionT - Triplex(a 12 speed is considered a triplex transmission because of the 3 splits available,lo-lo,direct & hiX - Heavy dutyL - lightweight(aluminum case)107 - series number for the Maxitorque 5 speed main box0 - OverdriveB - 2nd series of this transmission,lo-lo is air shifted instead of a second stick.Watch Ebay,the big green Mack Highway service manuals covers several different transmissions,plus alot of other good info,if not,any dealer should be able to get you one.
