b61mack Posted December 30, 2010 Share Posted December 30, 2010 I came acrossed a 98 Mack frame with hendrickson built Mack airride,Mack rears for $1000.00 it has i think (can't hardly read it) 3.65 gears. would 3.65 rears be too high for a 237-300 with a 10 speed 1070 Mack or a 10 speed direct roadranger,can anyone tell what ratio by the vin# 1M1AA18YXWW081869. it had a 454 in it dont know what transmission. David Posted December 31, 2010 Share Posted December 31, 2010 A quick and easy way to look at this is to consider the RPM's at 60 MPH.Final drive ratio X tire revs per mile = RPM's at 60 MPH.3.65 X 1.00 (direct trans.) From a 1997 CH613 with T2180 transmission.Thanks guys for the information. rhasler i thought it looked like 3.65, the way they mark the newer ones with all those little punch marks its hard to tell. i was thinking about buying it to put under my other B Model, dose anyone know if $ 1000. sounds like a desent price, it looks to be in good shape.
