Check for signs of exhaust leakage around the turbo mounting flange and manifold. Both parts are prone to cracking. Quote "Mebbe I'm too ugly and stupid to give up!" truckboy Posted July 14, 2010 Share Posted July 14, 2010 that sound is the turbo spinning at insane speeds, some turbos can reach 100,000 rpms. and yes turbos do whistle.
