  1. Remember to always keep a limber timber and you'll never be beat. I often wonder how it is to be 13. I can't remember where my shoes are. Hmmm lets see. Oh and that is a problem also. Anyway have a GREAT BIRTHDAY......don't fall for any candle tricks.

  2. i am just brushing it on, i did it the other day in the garage for touch up spots. i used a heat gun on the spots i was applying it to and the paint was stringy but i made it work. It is now sitting in the house at room temperature and will remain there. You think a bodyshop could restore the paint some?

Yea the body shop would love to get some money. Paint needs to be applied at about 75 degrees. I've used those brush paints. I really don't like them because of the stringy mess. It needs to be thinned but I don't bother. I've got to where I only use spray paints or nothing. You get more of a uniform finish if....yes if you sand and prepare the surface and also be free from silicones from waxes etc. ect. That being said, someone can be spraying silicones in the area and it will carry airborne and get into your nice paint work. I don't know how picky you are about the results of your paint finish, but you can cut a small hole in a piece of paper and spray through the paper and get a nice finish. Ya just have to experiment with stuff. Some paint and body shops can help and some will not. It can depend on how busy they are.

  3. @mike never been hog hunting before why?

We have a Texan on this site that goes hog wild and pig crazy. I think he is from northeastern Texas, and says it is a growing sport in Texas. His name is randyp. He shows up on here when least expected. I'm surprised that he has not introduced himself to ya yet. Just be patient he'll show up soon. OtherDog can get him to come out of his hiding when he gets off the road. Usually close to the weekend.

  4. Sorry Mike,

a few weeks ago I stopped by Watts Mack on the way home from Pittsburgh. I went in and said "hi there, i'm Mike, and i'm here to collect my winnings".

Watts Mack said "nice to meet you Mike, here you go!" Then they handed me a large bag of cash, some hats,T-shirts, tools, clocks, a new Rawhide with a big sleeper,505,18 spd, and a Watt's Mack pen. Nice stuff.

When they said "by the way Mike, could we just take a quick look at your ID?" I said "thanks guys, gotta go, see-ya, bye!" and jumped in the red anteater and took off down rt. 22 at a high rate of speed.

LOL.....Hey Barry.....mind if I send you some of my great tasting, to die for BBQ Sauce, for all the gifts I won?

That ought to win his heart and he thinks the sauce was OD's sauce.........he'll never know. HA HA HA.

  5. LOL, I drove mine up I-65 North from Nashville, several years ago, to keep from going back roads( shifting and air brake issues was the reason ) and it was so loud, I thought I was going 70 mph, but only wondered why everone else was going 100 mph. Finally got home some 27 miles traveled and asked the g/f how fast was I going. She LHAO at me and said 47 mph. I was shocked to say the least.
