Oh no. You’ve read my dumb comments a couple time?
Keep working. It has to be in Macungie next Friday.-

I know of one that is not in great shape.I am near Philadelphia Pennsylvania. What is you budget? Have you thought about shipping. I assume it would cost several thousand dollars to get a truck from Chile. Mike.

If you don’t get a response I know someone who has done it on many AB’s and. AC’s. He would be glad to talk to you. I’m pretty sure he uses a Chevy starter. Mike.

It’s looking great. I can’t wait to see it at Macungie. Mike.

Boy! What I'd do to be able to go back and snag this up before you sold it!
The poor thing got cut up, but I had no where to keep it. I haven’t sold much in my life and regret everyone of them. Mike.

Welcome. Let’s see some pictures of these B’s. Mike.

That cab is pretty nice. I’ll give you 500 bucks for it. You’ll have to deliver it to PA though. And paint the roof black. If not I’ll only give you 400.
Anyway I’m really jealous. I wish I could do work like that. Keep the posts coming. It’s great to see someone getting something done. Mike.-

It has "very rare Original Fiberglass Front Fenders"? Have never heard of those.
From what I have heard, a fiberglass tilt hood was an option in the late production B53’s. Mike

Where are you? I have a K model I would sell. I’m near Philly. Mike.

What’s the plan for the truck and what else are you liquidating? I’m just down the road in Boyertown. Mike.

Here are two D models from the Mack Museum. The green one is for sale if anyone is looking for a project. They also have one they restored inside but I could not find a photo. Mike.

I put this a Napa 12v fuel pump on several of my trucks including my 1947 85LS. It works great without a pressure regulator.

Actually the Smith truck is just a parts truck; I'm using the frame rails and rear bogie from a tandem and the cab, engine, and other parts from a single axle that I have. The color I picked is a teal blue. I think the Smith is number 160...it's got more rust than steel in the cab. I'm using the front axle, transmission, and some other parts from it.
That’s cool. I’d love to see more photos. Would you consider selling me some parts when you are done with your project? I have an H69 that could use a few this.

I must have forgotten that your truck is a smith truck. It looks great so far. What number was it? Are you painting it in the Smith livery? Would you post a before picture please? Thanks. Mike
