While Mack kept track of how many of each model was made they did not keep track of thing like number of axles and cab type. The only way to figure out how many single axle.B75's were made would be to go to the Mack museum and look at the built sheet or serial number for.each one. At least with axle number you could look at the serial number list and everyone with just a T suffix is a single axle(also lt). If you want to know how many B67's were built with a concave cab you have to look at every B67 build sheet.
Very neat truck. I would love to have it. Value is a.little tough, but I would guess in the 5000-8000 range if it runs well. Maybe a little more.if someone really wanted it.
Mike
Ditto on the price Mike....I'm curious about that B67 comment......I've always wondered about mine. If it was converted or if some actually came that way. I think mine is about the only B67 I've ever seen with a standard cab as opposed to the concave.
Rumor has it that my father converted one of his Bs for one of his drivers who was a BIG BOY. I don't know if this is the one or not or even if my information is scewed.....However for a man that had twenty plus B models at the time...I can't imagine anyone taking the time to cut and section a B67 Concave to a standard configuration when you could just put the man in one of the many B61s he had.
Dont see any dead giveaways on the outside and havent looked behind the headliner for clues but it is on my mind....

Look what is near the one standing on her back.

Now how did Vinny get into this mess.....I wouldn't worry about the youngster thats hangin' around with us learning about Mack trucks. Worry about beating the asses of the hipsters with their pants hangin off their ass, listening to the latest gang banger tunes, smokin dope and spraying graffiti on our old trucks parked in our back yards.
Now in everyone elses defense....Vinny that social services crap upsets these guys because...how can I say this.
Too many lame brained screwball "guidance counselors" who are fresh out of phsycology class are teaching children today that they cant be punished for doing any wrong. It's a big problem when children today think they know better than the adults around them and think they can run their own show when just last week they had their noses and behinds wiped by those same adults. Things are different today than they were years ago, I think because of a few bad apples that have outright ABUSED their children, laws and programs have been put in place over the years to protect children, which is a good thing.
HOWEVER now we have spoiled little snot nosed punks who have had their "nintendo" taken away. Now they want to get back at mommy and daddy....so they call child services and open up a big can of worms for their whole family....This is nonsense.
So indeed, as a youngster if you throw that around....you just might get slapped upside the head.
Im a younger man myself, but my father was of a MUCH older school than most peoples fathers. Ex military and WW2 vet. If I was out of line I was knocked clear across the floor.....however, sometimes the harder your head, the bigger the slap required to adjust your thinking cap. Personally I think its necessary in some cases. "Spare the rod, spoil the child".
You are a good kid Vinny Im sure of it....just dont throw that child services stuff around...it wont get you very far with the older guys.....maybe even a slap in the head hahaha.

does ewell still have a yard by there. used to get a tank wash there after delivering milk down off of 23.
Yep they are right there in East Earl...see their rigs in the area all the time.

If the first three numbers of your serial number are B-75 T there was 113 of them built in 1960
Well Brian says only 113 in 1960. I personally haven't seen many....Seems like it may have a "rare bird" factor to it. Maybe we should call on Superdog Mike again.....The man seems to know a thing or two about rare macks.

He got it in North Lawrence. He is going to restore it but said the dump bed and gas engine had to go. He wants to use it to pull his gooseneck. We have an antique tractor club and haul tractors around to the shows. You can go to our web site and go to Bill Melders photp album on the photo page and see it loaded up on the trailer he is going to pull behind it. While you are there go to the photo of the week page and look at last weeks photo of the old B Mack. This picture will be taken off tomorrow night. I am the web master of this site. www.latc.us

UhOh now we gotta find out where this is so we can go save more poor neglected puppies....thats a whole yard full of Macks the way it looks.

Allison 3000 series
Tom
Hahaha...well thats ok we cant all be perfect. The only reason I ask is because I know the Eatons are like trying to find hens teeth. A buddy of mine has a real nice one, black, polished aluminum rollback with the extended cab. He looked high and low trying to find a stick shift.
-
HAHAHA
-
Yea, if i get this truck and find someone to shorten it, ill have a gooseneck also so the mack will come too!
Tom
Nice... I hope you get it worked out. Is that an Eaton Fuller or an Auto-Matico in that International Harvester?

Yes, you probably looked at, I found it here on the for sale board. I was looking at a tandem found one from New York that was in better shape just needed paint but it had no title and when I researched on getting one here in Missouri it was going to be a pain because the truck changed hands so many times without a title after 1973. I spent two days on hold with the State of New York, Massachusetts and Missouri. I told the guy to get a letter from the state and I would buy it. He never called back. I wanted a truck I can register and tool around in not have to trailer everywhere. This one has a good title other than the floor boards not that bad I still have a couple spots on the fenders then it gets a coat of primer and paint then inspection sticker I am trying to have it done to pull my gooseneck for my daughters homecoming parade before school gets out. My pickup is not as cool as the Mack she said.
You must be one proud papa....

ooooh thats a keeper. Shes rusty but shes B-E-A-Utiful....Are you coming to Macungie this year?
-
Thats one bad bulldog, I love it.......anymore? don't be shy lol

also you have to bleed in the correct rotation usually the shortest ones first (front then rear) the best way is with the vaccum pump a cheap one is about $30. and follow the instructions
Thats backward....Start at the farthest corner in the rear and work to the closest to the master cylinder.
Did you "bench bleed" before you put it on the truck?
Also a fella I know suggested to me that you can top off the cylinder and let the bleeders open and let them "gravity bleed"....just dont let the master drain completely or you are screwed. The tedious nature of that scared me and I've never been in deep enough that I needed to try this to get results but he is a very reliable source. Mechanic for many years.
I know that information is probably very disconcerting for you also but beside trying a new master cylinder....I cant imagine what would cause that problem considering all the time you spent on this.
